A great read! Sophisticated, grounded, original.

Original and creative story, written with high emotional intelligence, yet the characters are earthly and relatable. Performed brilliantly by the narrator.

Wow I really enjoyed this one, it was thrilling and had great twists that make sense and are not there just for the sake of having a plot twist.
Original, creative, authentic, really captures the spirit of being a kid well - highly recommended, brought me to tears several times

Historia
For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.

Enjoyable and original
Revisado: 06-29-20
Very good story, wish it had more female characters, as other than 1 the rest are male (it was very noticable for me even as a guy).
But other than this (for me major) flow, it was very enjoyable and original.

Historia
For thousands of years, there has been a cycle: a Demon King rises and conquers, and a Hero is reborn a hundred years later to defeat him. Each time, civilizations are ground to dust beneath the Demon King's hordes, but humanity has remained secure in the belief that a Hero of legend will always save them. There's just one slight problem. It's only been 23 years since the Demon King's latest rise, and this time, he's already conquered more than half the world. If humanity simply waits for the Hero's return, there may be no world left for him to save.

Mmm... It was too generic for my taste.
Revisado: 06-11-20
It felt a bit like a parody on fantasy genre, and yet it did not feel like it was meant to be a parody.
The fantasy world is built like a computer game or a D&D world, the characters have numeric levels, they gain xp and such, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just felt weird.
I guess that if the storyline was more original, and if the characters had more depth and development, then the concept of telling a story from a game point of view might have been cool... But because that's not the case in my eyes, the overall experience was of reading a generic b-rated game's storyline...

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.
