Well written and an enthralling story!

The author did a remarkable job of researching both the Boys, their coach, the shell maker and the times. The races were thrilling! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to their story.
Edward Hermann did a nearly perfect job of narrating. If only he or one of the producers had taken the time to learn the correct pronunciation of our local locations, newspapers and rivers.
Except for that, I would definitely recommend this story.

Another winner in Doig’s Montana series

This is the 3rd book I’ve read in his telling of the McCaskills in the hills of Montana. Ivan knows how to draw the reader/listener in. He tells of Jick’s travels with his daughter, Mariah, and her ex, Riley, while weaving his and his family’s history into the story. Bringing the new reader into the background of these interesting characters. If you haven’t listened/read the next in this series, MOUNTAIN TIME, I recommend it. It tells the story of his daughters, Mariah and Lexa.

Wonderful story!

The Beekeeper of Aleppo brings the beauty of the bees and the horror of civil war to reality. The characters and descriptions of the places Nuri and Afra travel draw you into the story. Mr Malek’s narration is fantastic! Wonderful, horrific, sad, and humbling all at once.

Interesting story, hurried narration

I bought this Audiobook because I enjoy Tyrus on Gutfeld! and other Fox programs and wanted to know more about him. Although his childhood was less than inspiring, he was able to take positive attitudes and ethics from the various good role models he came in touch with in his life. He is open about his past and doesn’t come across as a victim, but as a survivor and intelligent human being.
Unfortunately, his narration was hurried and not always easy to follow. It sounded like doing the narration was a burden and he just wanted to get through it. I could hear him turning the pages. Tyrus, there are periods at the end of sentences for a reason.
Still enjoy you. Like the snazzy, new hats!

Fascinating biography and very good performance

It is obvious that the authors did substantial research for this book. They draw the listener or reader in with wonderful detail recounting of Van Gogh’s life and his work. They dispel myths surrounding his behavior as well as describe his mental torment in layman’s terms. I recommend it whether you are interested in art or mental health or history.
