Historia
A bomb in Rome, a flash of bluish-white light, and photojournalist Josh Ryder's world exploded. From that instant nothing would ever be the same.
As Josh recovers, his mind is increasingly invaded with thoughts that have the emotion, the intensity, the intimacy of memories. But they are not his memories. They are ancient...and violent. A battery of medical and psychological tests can't explain Josh's baffling symptoms. And the memories have an urgency he can't ignore, pulling him to save a woman named Sabina, and the treasures she is protecting.

Historia
In what may be her most unsettling novel to date, Sue Grafton's T Is for Trespass is also her most direct confrontation with the forces of evil. Beginning slowly with the day-to-day life of a private eye, Grafton suddenly shifts from the voice of Kinsey Millhone to that of Solana Rojas, introducing listeners to a chilling sociopath. Rojas is not her birth name. It is an identity she cunningly stole, an identity that gives her access to private caregiving jobs.

Loved this book. Another Sue Grafton hit!
Revisado: 12-30-22
Sue Grafton books never fail to entertain. Murder, mayhem, mystery and fully developed characters softened with PI Malone’s clever humor.

The best book yet!
Revisado: 12-13-12
I love all the Lincoln/Child books and usually get them as soon as possible when they come out, but The Ice Limit is beyond compare. I couldn't stop listening! Even though I had to get some sleep, I found myself waking up at 4:00am and just having to continue listening, sitting on the edge of my seat on my couch in the dark, unable to take my ear phones off.
This was non-stop, edge of your seat excitement, great characters (Glynn reminded me a lot of Pendergast actually) and a surprise ending that was greatly satisfying. Don't miss this one!

Classic Preston and Child. I can overlook the truly "gross" parts for a good story line. Preston and Child never miss!

Historia
If you are driving, pull over. If you are at work, close your door, unless you don't mind your colleagues seeing you doubled over, in tears, on your office floor. With this recording, taped before a delirious sold out audience at Carnegie Hall, you are there as David Sedaris performs new stories from his upcoming book. A parrot who mimics an ice maker, lovers quarreling over a rubber hand, and a Santa Claus who moonlights from his job as bishop of Turkey, the cast of characters is like no other.

Laughing out loud
Revisado: 03-17-12
I never fail to feel better and actually laugh out loud, no matter what my mood, after listening to David Sedaris. It's not just his voice - a pleasant monotone with a slightly nasal New York accent. It's not just his delivery - a slightly sarcastic, mocking, yet self deprecating and appreciative look at his merry band of unusual yet loveable family, friends and acquaintances. It is mostly his ability to help us laugh (out loud!) at ourselves, reflecting back to us the realization that we and our own families, friends and acquaintances are just crazy, funny, unusual and loveable. Thank you David!
