Dual Narration spoils me!

Such a cute story about best friends who decide to add some benefits to their lives and it ends up being a lot more than either of them expected! And another thing is Amy's way of recording her books is duet spoils the listener. It's almost as if you are in the room with the characters as they are talking - versus being conned with the female POVs reading the male and vise versa. I love books recorded this way and wish all authors would go to this format!

I have to say that Amy can never stop writing in the Harris Brother world. I feel like she could go on forever with this klan and I would be plum happy to aways have storylines coming from the other side of the pond with these sexy footballers and their friends.

Freya and Mac may seem like an odd couple but the two have been the best of friends for the past year. But after an innocent game of Never Have I Ever at a party - Mac comes to find out that Freya has little experience with the opposite sex. So he decides that maybe he can give her some pointers on how to date. What he never expected was that his own feeling for the quirky yet cute redhead would come bubbling to the surface and he would come to find his jealous side when it comes to all things Freya.

This was such a fun, laugh out loud, cute yet super sexy read. I loved Mac and Freya together!.

British thoughts for a Texan?

I really enjoyed the storyline and the narrators but having a British Narrator for a character who was a Texan was a big turn off for me. When speaking Gigi’s lines she had a perfect American (although not southern) accent - but Gigi’s thought we’re read in her British accent.... it was just a little too much for me and took away from the experience. being a native Texan I just couldn’t get past it so I switched to reading the book instead. But a great story overall.

OH MY WORD - I couldn't stop laughing!

This book was fantastic. First off, Amy Daws is hilarious. Her words keep me laughing and smiling and I was crazy for this book. Second, the audio actors were amazing! I usually hate when the actors have to go from their voices to those of the opposite sex but Erin and Teddy did a great job of not annoying me with horrible transitions. LOL. And speaking of the actors - I fell in love with this story because it was so well performed.

Sam mets a girl in the bait shop that is obviously off her rocker. But she's cute and funny and so he decides to help her on her quests to become less "plain" and more exciting for her ex boyfriend whom she knows will soon become hers again once she shows him how adventurous she can be. What Sam never expected was that Maggie was really Megan, his best friend's little sister who still thinks she's with her "boyfriend".

Sparks fly between Sam and Maggie and soon she finds that Sam is maybe a more perfect fit for her than the ex.

This book kept me rolling in laughter and i loved it so much. If you are looking for an entertaining, hilarious listen - then this is the book for you.

I'm ruined for any other audiobooks!

After hearing Booker and Poppy in Duet... I may never want to listen to another audiobook spoken in the old tired way. Listening to my favorite characters as they go back and forth (think of it more like a play. You get to hear all the sighs and laughter and anguish...) it just brings the book more to life than ever before.

Every time a new Harris Brothers book hits my kindle, I giggle with glee. And I knew that Booker (being the baby of the family) was going to be a great story. I absolutely adored Booker and Poppy's story. This book will take you on a ride of emotions as these two lifelong friends reconnect.

Booker and Poppy have been friends since childhood. Neighbors and mates until all of a sudden Poppy left for Germany at the age of 18 leaving Booker hurt and confused. Now six years later Poppy is back and Booker sees this as a chance to reconnect and so he invites Poppy to move in with him while she is waiting for her flat to become ready in a few months instead of driving from her parent's house into the city.

Even with the uncertainty of the past between these two, they soon find out that the feeling they had always suppressed soon come to a head.

Booker is afraid to lose Poppy again, but can Poppy put her feeling aside and just be the friend that Booker thinks he needs, or will she be able to convince him that they would be so much better as more.

I highly recommend this series and Amy especially this audio series! Those British accents will have you melting!

Couldn't finish

The storyline was great. I am a huge fan of Amy Daws but the voice just didn't connect for me with the character. She sounded older than the leads actual age. And I really have a hard time with one actor playing both male and female in a duel POV. She was just too whiny in the female parts and not deep enough for the male. I like to get lost in a book and this just made me want to cringe.

A Beautiful love story

Loved this story about redemption, second chances and starting new. Logan was the local playboy.. Clare the young widow, thinking she had already found her soul mate but now he was gone.

Both help each other move past their failures and insecurities and guide each other towards a love that neither thought they deserved.

The narrators were great and kept me interested and ready for more.
