I Think I’ve read too many True Crime this Year!!
Revisado: 11-09-22
The book was well written and of course, excellently research from one of the O.G. FBI profilers, Mr Ressler. I was able to gain some new insight into Gacy & Kemper that hadn’t been shared in other books. There wasn’t anything covered that I couldn’t do without but that being said it was still worth the purchase.

Historia
In and out of hospitals since birth, angelic nine-month-old Morgan Reid finally succumbed to what appeared to be sudden infant death syndrome. Morgan's Texas-born mother, Tanya, a nurse and devoted wife, pulled up stakes with her grieving husband, Jim, and moved on. It was the best way to put the past behind them. Until their son, Michael, a boy who by all accounts was terrified of his mother, began showing signs of the same affliction that stole the life of his baby sister....

Worth The Credit.
Revisado: 10-22-22
Very good book on MSBP. I’m from Texas and had never heard of Tanya Reed and her atrocities. Women who commit this crime should receive extra-long sentences when a child is betrayed in the ultimate way, it is extra heinous when the mother is the perpetrator. One place a child should never have to worry about evil being done, is in his mother’s arms.
Greg Olsen is a masterful writer who has a firm grasp on writing true crime. I would imagine keeping the chronological order, remaining as unbiased as possible, and interviewing numerous people, all with differing opinions and stories to tell, is a challenge for even the most seasoned writer. Mr. Olsen does not disappoint.
And, last, Kevin Pierce never lets us listeners down. I especially enjoyed his performance of Tanya’s way of speaking. While he doesn’t come off as trying to sound like a woman, which would be impossible with his gruff voice, he is able to convey her machine gun fast way of speaking. It automatically called to reference in my mind what she sounded like without me ever hearing her speak. I always enjoy buying a book that has been narrated by Mr. Pierce. I never have to wonder if the narrator will annoy me or not.

For 25 years, John E. Douglas worked for the FBI, where had a brilliant and terrifying career getting inside the minds of notorious killers. Written with Mark Olshaker, Law and Disorder is Douglas’ most provocative and personal book yet. John Douglas is fascinating!!
Revisado: 02-01-21
Yes, he often talks about the same cases. But never in the same way. In all the books I’ve listened to, each case has something new to offer in relation to what the book is about. So, no.. I don’t find that he is being redundant. But rather, he uses each case differently as it applies, therefore making relevant and interesting in an altogether different way.
