Good read

Any additional comments?
I enjoy all of the "Women's Murder Club" books except for the background music. I find it distracting and unnecessary. The narrator does a fine job of conveying the emotions of the story without the dramatic music.

Historia
Tragedy has struck the Harrigans: Quincy’s beloved sister-in-law Loni is gravely ill and nearing death. Quincy, like his brothers, feels helpless to save her, and the clock is ticking. Then, with perfect timing, a winsome red-haired woman named Ceara O’Ceallaigh mysteriously appears on Quincy’s property and insists that Loni can be cured. Only Quincy, she says, as the sole remaining Harrigan bachelor, can make it happen - by marrying Ceara…

Entertaining but far fetched
Revisado: 11-11-13
Any additional comments?
The is certainly not the best of this series. It goes into an area that doesn't really fit with the rest of the Harrigan Family books. This one is a real stretch of the imagination and not in a good way.

I'd rather watch paint dry
Revisado: 11-03-13
Any additional comments?
This author spent more time describing paint colors and wardrobe choices that had nothing to do with the story. It was enough to cause a reader to go comatose. Too boring for words.

Historia
Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.... As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life....

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series and this one did not dissapoint. I love the humor and the interaction of the family. The narrator does a great job of giving each character a different voice making it a truly enjoyable listen.

This one was hard to follow. Too much switching back and forth between timelines. I think I'll lay off reading Karin Slaughter books. I've read several and have decided her style doesn't work for me.

Historia
Accomplished dancer Lara Trudeau drops dead of a heart attack brought on by a lethal combination of booze and pills. To former private investigator Quinn O’Casey, it’s a simple case of death by misadventure. But when his brother Doug, a Miami-Dade patrolman, asks for help, he can’t refuse. Especially when he learns that Lara and Doug - a student at the Moonlight Sonata dance studio where Lara occasionally taught - were having an affair. And despite Quinn’s lack of interest in the case and even less in dancing, experience has taught him not to count on the obvious when it comes to murder.

A Good Listen...Not A Great Listen
Revisado: 08-17-12
Would you try another book from Heather Graham and/or Janet Darling?
I love Heather Graham and will probably get anything she puts out unless it's narrated by Janet Darling.
What didn’t you like about Janet Darling’s performance?
Janet Darling is a bit too breathy and over dramatic which took away from the story for me.
Do you think Dead on the Dance Floor needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No
Any additional comments?
It was a good stoy but a little on the slow side for my taste.
