What Search means to you
Revisado: 06-22-06
This book really opens your eyes to what Search may do in the coming decade to revolutionize our lives, and brings meaning to the phenomenon of a company growing from nothing to a huge power on the world scene. I would recommend it to anyone with any interest in the Internet, or in information systems. Although I was certainly aware of Google before reading this book, and used search frequently, after reading it I have a much greater appreciation in the possabilities of search, and what can be accomplished by advances in this technology.

Disappointed at lack of insight
Revisado: 05-16-04
I had high hopes for this volume and although I enjoyed it I do not feel I understand the two men any better than before. I did come away with a distaste for Roosevelt, who seemed cruel and purposefully devious, and more respectful for Churchill, who seemed to really make an effort to form a personal bond with a man who was not capable of returning such emotions. The author seemed simply to recite what he found, rather than interpreting the data, and I felt overall the book was rather thin.

Historia
While in Paris on business, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon receives an urgent late-night phone call. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, a baffling cipher found near the body. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, sort through the bizarre riddle, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Da Vinci, clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

A fascinating story
Revisado: 12-02-03
I just finished this book and I loved it. True, the plot has some problems, and the ending is somewhat disappointing, but the background research about the Holy Grail was fascinating, and I found myself going to Google and looking up all sorts of details about the book and finding it well researched. I enjoyed the book, and its twists, so interesting that I feel somewhat let down now that I have completed it. I would recommend this book extremely highly to anyone with the possible exception of very devout individuals who might object to the characterization of the Catholic church.
