Entertaining and slightly thought provoking, overall humorous

Loved it!
Will Wheaton is not one of my favorite audiobook narrators, but he is not one of the worst either. Where he is not like my three favorite narrators: R.C. Bray (the master voice-smith), Jeffrey Kafer another amazing voice-smith), or Bronson Pinchot (very agile voice-smith), but he has the energy, enthusiasm and enough punch in his narration to keep you listening.
I was not sure what to expect from Self-Help- because I usually gravitate toward longer (running-time) audiobooks, but this was surprisingly entertaining and had me glued to the story from start to finsh.
The ending was equally surprising and simultaneously nostalgic, as it had the semblance of simple, yet mysterious storytelling like that of the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits shows of the 60s into the late 90s.
Best 3 hours and 46 minutes I have spent to-date on a short audiobook!
Well done Author Ben H. Winters, I am looking forward to checking out more of your works!!

Jeremy Robinson is a dynamo have an author! I have read a lot of his works-and he is truly one of my favorite authors exclamation this book series was absolutely amazing!
If you keep an open mind and follow the storylines of all five of the books of this collection you will get the jest of how in tune he js with humanity- our strengths, our weaknesses, our intelligence, our stupidity, our cruelty our kindness and so much more, that makes us the unique beings we are- You did it again Jeremy! Great job!!

Absolutely Amazing!

From the story to the narration, this is one of the best books I have listened to from Jeremy Robinson, one of my favorite authors- thanks to his awesome Reckoners series!
He really went deep into the understanding of man and his ability to create, destroy, survive and evolve (rinse and repeat).
His references and inferences of a higher power at work greater than even the epic Apocalyse Machine, was brilliantly done!
Please feel free to respect the negative opinions, as well as the positive reviews provided by other listeners of this amazing book, as everyone should be free to express their own opinion.
But do yourself a favor and listen to this great tale and be your own judge!
A must listen!!

Lots of Action, But a Little 'Comic Book-ish"

A literal blast from start to finish!

Well, smartly written sci-fi series with great characters, plot, lots of action, romance and more! I am now truly a fan of Jeffrey J. Burger and have already ordered Book 2 with Book#3 on deck! I love The way Burger created his hero of the Wings of Steele series with Jack Steele, a tough, fearless, pragmatic but surprisingly compassionate man who simply drives story.
With his faithful friend for life, his beloved German Shepherd, Fritz as well as those he loves and his fiercely loyal crew, I loved this first book and after this review, will be tearing right into Book# 2 "Wings of Steele: Flight of Freedom".
Kevin Clay as the voice actor for this series, is nothing short of amazing and talented!
If you are on Audible.com in search of a great and evolving Sci-Fi series that will keep you glued to your headsets and riveted to the storyline, then check out the Wings of Steele audiobook series starting with "Wings of Steele: Destination Unknown-- Awesome!

I have never heard L.E Thomas before his Star Runners book, but now I don't think I'm ever going to forget him. This was an amazing story, with so much potential with hopefully more Star Runners books coming from Thomas coming out soon!
I can only speak for myself as a sci-fi fan and a big audiobook affectionato, when I say this is one the best sci-fi books I've listened to, to date! I will be waiting at the gate for the next Star Runners book , if L.E. Thomas is planning on making this a series. And I hope he does!!
