Historia
In the early morning of March 6, 1993, an intense fire broke out in a tiny nursery. Sixteen minutes later, firefighters had extinguished the blaze, only to reveal a room burned so severely, everything was virtually unrecognizable. Then, they were told to look for a baby. What they discovered looked more like a monster from a horror film; the small skull had been incinerated, and the legs and arms were nothing more than charred stumps. The only identifiable human feature was the baby's genitals, covered in what remained of his diaper.

Good story, but....
Revisado: 07-08-22
Very compelling story, but the author talks about herself way too often, and while doing so shares details that most people would rather not know

A true story detailing the events surrounding the murder of wealthy North Carolinian Lieth von Stein. The case seemed cold until police followed a trail leading to von Stein's stepson, a smart young man who was obsessed with Dungeons & Dragons and wrapped up in drugs.

Great story, but Kevin Stilwell needs to pronounce words correctly. It's OcTOber, not OCtober. poLICE, instead of POlice.

Historia
In Everything Trump Touches Dies, political campaign strategist and commentator Rick Wilson brings his darkly funny humor and biting analysis to the absurdity of American politics in the age of Trump. Wilson mercilessly exposes the damage Trump has done to the country, to the Republican Party he served for decades, and to the conservative movement that has abandoned its principles for the worst president in American history. No left-winger, Wilson is a lifelong conservative who delivers his withering critique of Trump from the right.

Great Read
Revisado: 08-19-18
Rick Wilson does a great job of laying bare the circus in the White House. A true conservative, some parts of the book were difficult for this liberal to read, but everything made sense. At times laugh out loud funny, the author reads the book very well. This is one Republican I'll continue to follow with great interest.

Historia
In and out of hospitals since birth, angelic nine-month-old Morgan Reid finally succumbed to what appeared to be Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Morgan's Texas-born mother Tanya, a nurse and devoted wife, pulled up stakes with her grieving husband Jim, and moved on. It was the best way to put the past behind them. Until their son Michael, a boy who by all accounts was terrified of his mother, began showing signs of the same affliction that stole the life of his baby sister.

good story, narration not so much.
Revisado: 09-20-16
Not until the afterward did the narrative sound professional. Tonya, as voiced by Christy Lynn, sounded like someone portrayed by a 7th grader. Absolutely awful. It was tolerable when Ms Lynn wasn't reading actual dialogue, but when she did I tried to Ff through it so I didn't have to listen to the horrible fake southern accent and shrill voice.
