They all became stupid?
Revisado: 03-21-24
Horrible storyline. I literally had to stop halfway through. It’s like everyone on the world became more stupid than a bag of rocks.

Historia
For years now, Powershell has been dominating the programming life because of its usefulness and wide application. It's a decent shell-scripting language that combines command-line speed, the flexibility of scripting, and the power of a GUI-based admin tool to perform different user's tasks. All the server products that Microsoft is producing now can be managed through PowerShell so it's a must-learn language for every programmer out there, but the question remains, how can you master such an important language?

Narrated by Daniel Perez?!?
Revisado: 12-13-21
This audible book was completely narrated by a computer. The information is difficult at best to understand; horrific on average. It is hard to rate anything else about this book because of how bad the narration is.

Historia
Kahlan has at last gained the one goal she had always thought was beyond her grasp...love. Against all odds, the ancient bonds of secret oaths, and the dark talents of men long dead, Richard has won her heart. Amid sudden and disastrous events, Richard's life is called due to satisfy those treacherous oaths. To save his life, Kahlan must forsake Richard's love and cast him into the chains of slavery, knowing there could be no sin worse than such a betrayal.

Was the reader a person or a computer…
Revisado: 07-11-21
The story was excellent. Enthralling. The reader almost destroyed that. I hope and pray this person does not read anymore.

Historia
Ever since we produced our course Thinking About Capitalism, customers have expressed interest in a follow-up course that could help them understand socialism in the same way. After much consideration, we determined that it actually would be more beneficial to create a course that compares and contrasts the two major global economic theories, examining them in ways that move past the polemics many of us are used to and looking at these systems as they relate to one another and the world at large.

Thank you
Revisado: 05-22-21
Extremely informative. As the title shows, there are many around the world, and increasingly in the US, looking to marginalize one form of government or another. The truth is they can all work in concept. It is up to the leaders of the country to decide and/or listen to their constituents in where to go. Capitalism allows for a freer market but it also incentives the income gap and that “flaw” is increasingly apparent today. Socialism brings cradle to grave healthcare and education among other incentives but also breeds a higher tax rate. Communism (Marxism) has never truly been evinced. Lenin attempted to get there but too fast with a war stricken country. Stalin took the reigns and instead of heading toward the Communism of Marx, it was perverted into Stalinism. Ambitious rulers tend to be self-serving first while a leader who is too pliant tends to waffle in the breeze. Where will we go? Enjoy the journey while looking toward a destination.

Personal biases are not required
Revisado: 09-04-18
It seems Michael Shermer takes an exceptional amount of time to toss personal digs on people of Faith. He cites zero facts for his claims other than his continually calling creationism as pseudoscience.
This is a course on teaching a person to be a skeptical thinker. Not a course designed to bash those who believe in God.
Take your atheistic dogma elsewhere.
