Wow, this narrator really ruined this book

So here's the thing. I was at first really bugged by the way the reader of this book pronounced some of the names particularly the main character that we all know and love. The truth of it is that besides that, this is a very well done program, and the reader really covers it. If I wasn't already a fan of the "SoT" series, There would be no complaint. Dick Hill is as talented as any reader I've heard...(and trust I've heard many). The story, though simple and not as rich as a "Wheel of time" swing, (If you don't know, you should get hip quickly) it is beautiful. Goodkind has a tendency towards over exposition, but it's a quirk more than a flaw. This is a solid effort, complete with all of the elements we fantasy lovers have come to expect. Yes, Hill makes pronunciation mistakes. Let it go y'all. This book works. This reader works. If you're this far into the series, and you've tolerated some of the mess that this audio series has had to offer, get past the hang ups and enjoy this reader. He's very good. The story as a whole through the entire series is worth it.

I never do this review swing, but for this I thought I had to. The day after I listened to it for the first time (before I went to sleep) my battery was completely recharged. For that I alone I give this the highest rating. If you're a believer in the power of intention and the laws of attraction, this program is wonderful. It's become part of my daily arsenal to stay on track.
