We have all heard the name Cartier and attributed it to a family of jewelers. That word has so much more meaning after reading the story of the family and what it stood for. It is a time long gone when craftsmanship was not merely a word, but a way of life and pride in vision and accomplishments the world will never see again.

Very interesting life

Very interesting read. I never realized that Luna was quite selfish in her own right compared to the way she’s always been pro she’s always been portrayed as someone who dearly loved him and did her best to protect him as he got older reading the book you get to feeling that she was no less of a person trying to live off of his genius in notoriety and I found that to be a little sad. It certainly changed my outlook on Charlie Chaplin they always call him the little tramp or the little guy and he was but he had so much going against him when he was younger that he made so much of himself as he got older something to be proud of.

Not what I expected but totally fascinating

I never knew the varied history that the plaza hotel had I think a lot of times we just take for granted the fact that these classic buildings have been there forever and we don’t really know too much about their history and all the iterations they went through to become the iconic places that that they actually are totally fascinating it’s a facet of history that I don’t think we get enough of we look at just being there..

Strange times devaluing women’s rights

As what is happening today, there is much said regarding thr right of a woman to control her body and reproductive purpose. Children were raised by nannies or left to their own devices. Minor ladies had even less control and the human race used excuses to prevent multiple births from becoming a drain on society. Things are not moving forward….

If you lived thru the production of Rent, you would know about the turbulent times this musical portrays. It is a great musical in the vein of west side story. The story and struggles were real, the people are real, and it didn’t get the reviews it should.
