Bad narrator

Could not make it 15 mins listening to this women. She made the lead jack sound like he was a dandy and her voice was like fingers on a chalk board. I am going to try to read instead of listening

Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

The book is completely different from the audio
Revisado: 10-20-21
As I was listening to the audio book I was following along with the actual book. I know it sounds weird but in loud environments it helps me focus more. As I was listening I noticed that the narrator missed words or some were changed. I tried moving past it but not even into the third chapter there was an entire different paragraph that wasn’t even in the book. I started getting super agitated that both book and narrator were telling different stories. I don’t recommend the audio book

Historia
Libby Day was seven when her mother and two sisters were murdered in "The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas". As her family lay dying, little Libby fled their tiny farmhouse into the freezing January snow. She lost some fingers and toes, but she survived, and famously testified that her 15-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, Ben sits in prison, and troubled Libby lives off the dregs of a trust created by well-wishers who've long forgotten her.

Revisado: 09-24-20
Was very excited to listen to this story due to the films sharp objects and gone girl . Found it very hard to get into and then the description of all the animal abuse and killings was a big turn off . Was not excepting to hear about animals being mutilated in such horrific manors

Historia
When Clare Stevens walked onto the McCallister ranch, she expected her life to be a certain way. She was the mail-order bride of the owner, and she was to fulfill her duties. Clean the house, cook for his men, and warm his bed at night. What she didn't expect was the beefy cowboy who walked in and literally swept her off her feet. Cash McCallister didn't have time to date and find a wife. So a mail-order bride seemed the easiest way to find a partner. He thought he'd made a mistake until he laid eyes on the little piece of sunshine that lit up his life.
