Historia
The Omehi people have been fighting an unwinnable fight for almost 200 years. The lucky ones are born gifted. One in every 2,000 women has the power to call down dragons. One in every 100 men is able to magically transform himself into a bigger, stronger, faster killing machine. Everyone else is fodder, destined to fight and die in the endless war. Young, giftless Tau knows all this, but he has a plan of escape. He's going to get himself injured, get out early, and settle down to marriage, children, and land. Only, he doesn't get the chance. Those closest to him are murdered....

Good read
Revisado: 09-14-19
Good read if you have nothing to read at the moment. It was entertaining. If I have to say something bad is that the character is a bit one dimensional and not that bright.

Good book but..

Any additional comments?
I didn't like the ring plot hole, that kinda ruin it. I don't like when characters act stupid. Other than that is better than most book out there, a good listen if you have nothing to listen at the moment.

Yes
Any additional comments?
This is a good book, may take a while to get into it but is worth it. Father has two sons, one of the sons has the same name as father, sometimes it get confusing. I'm waiting for book 2.

I didn't like the format for second book
Revisado: 08-10-17
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I didn't like that every 10 or 20 seconds the narrator changes to a different character.

Best book I read so far
Revisado: 07-25-10
This is the best book I listen so far. I highly recommend it. Action, romance, magic but that's not it, the story is very well written and developed and there's some interesting idea's and story within the story. I"m gonna quote something. "A man just waiting to died" I love that.
