Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Amazing Look Past the Curtain
Revisado: 01-14-23
I loved the book. Separated into 3 parts with each chapter sectioned into short vignettes kept me engaged and was a treat for my ADHD brain.
The Prince's soothing voice pulled me into his story, and my must admit I cried a few times as I followed him through painful points in his life.
His memoir felt genuine and honest despite the claims of the nitpickers who cry that at
points in wasn't inaccurate.
The Xbox was released in 2001 not 1997 they cry. Not seeing that the next three lines clearly state that he was told "repeatedly...as if it were gospel" that's the last thing his mum bought him, he couldn't remember and didn't know if it was true.
I don't know or care about the motives of those who spread negative opinions or choose to criticize instead of showing empathy. That is their cross to bare.
In my opinion the book was engaging, entertaining and heart felt; a man who shared his life without exposing the real and explosive secrets of the royal family.
In summary, other than an arguably TMI story about his a frost nip (frost bite) injury below his belt, this is not a tabloid salacious story. It's a conversation that shows a man in a gilded cage hunted by the press and hurt by the people he loved most in the world.

Historia
No job, no money, no love - and to make things worse, 27-year-old Charlie has no choice but to leave New York City and move in with his mom in his isolated and conservative hometown of Sunset Springs. Home isn’t a comfortable place for Charlie. One of very few Black residents and the only trans person around town that he knows of, this will be Charlie’s first time back in Sunset Springs since he transitioned. He expects confusion and maybe even hostility. He definitely does not expect Jackson Ford.

DNF so not for me
Revisado: 09-04-21
The book lost me when I realized that there's an ambiguous ending. I read romance almost exclusively because I want a clear HEA/HFN. If I wanted ambiguity, I'd follow nonfiction stories.
So, please let me know when there's a good romance novel with a trans MC that has a happy ending.
Last, while I respect the fact that the narrator is a nonbinary POC, their feminine sounding voice took me out of the story. I felt that a deeper voice would have suited the trans-male character.

Before he was “Big Texas,” he was “Zac the Snack Pack". Bianca Brannen knows time - mostly - heals all wounds. Including those your once loved ones might have unintentionally given you. (Those just take longer.) She thinks she’s ready when a call has her walking back into her old friend’s life. Or at least, as prepared as possible to see the starting quarterback in the National Football Organization. Before the lights, the fans, and the millions, he’d been a skinny kid with a heart of gold.

Zac Gets His Story!
Revisado: 08-24-21
I loved this book. It's the story of a character from the Wall of Winnipeg. So happy to see Zac's journey. Callie Dalton's performance is awesome as always, and the male narrator's voice was great as well. I look forward to next book.

Historia
Eugenia was born to privilege in the Ratna clan, nobility famed for their alchemical jewel production. Eugenia’s a talented alchemist herself - but the patriarchy insists her less able brother is the heir to the family secrets and property. As if that weren’t insult enough, an accidentally public tryst with another woman means Genie is shunned by polite society altogether. Enter the gorgeous Lord Oliver Plumtree, scion of one of the oldest alchemical families in Chrysopoeia and master of the foreboding Waldgrave Abbey. But Lord Oliver is actually Olivia.

It was ok, but not for me.
Revisado: 02-01-21
The story started off fine, but quickly got boring for me. I found myself skipping around because I kept losing interest. The love scene were hot but not enough to sustain the story for me.

Sometimes, you've got to take a job with the devil to pay the bills.... Too bad I learned too late the devil wears Armani, is the most uptight man in the history of history, and just signed an unbreakable contract that shackles me to his pompous royal side for the summer. But God, he's got this British accent that makes my panties melt. But then the words he says catch up with my brain and make me want to throw one of his precious vases at his head.

Story: Good. Narration: Meghan Kelly not great.
Revisado: 09-30-20
Getting through this book is a struggle. I'm writing this review at the halfway point of the story.
Shane East is great as always. The story engaging, but I absolutely HATE Meghan Kelly's choices as a narrator. Both of her accents, US broadly Southern and English, are terrible. Her delivery is overly breathy, and her male voices are stilted.
I am really trying to get through this book because I like the story and Shane East, but I may end just reading the book instead.

Historia
Working for Chase Lancaster was supposed to catapult my marketing career. Instead, I'm trapped in personal-assistant hell. His hobbies include barking orders, torpedoing my advertising campaigns, and reducing the office staff to tears. On a good day, he acts like I’m invisible. On a bad day, I remind myself arsenic is not an acceptable sweetener for coffee. And prison orange would be murder on my complexion. Imagine my surprise when Chase follows me home to Bitter End, North Carolina, where I'm about to endure my ex-fiancé's wedding.

Ugh.
Revisado: 09-15-20
The main character was naive. I couldn't stay engaged in the story. This book was barely romance. It was a fluffy sweet light fantasy with no substance.
On a positive note, the narrator was ok.

LOVED IT
Revisado: 06-27-20
I picked this because I was desperate for a good nice enemies to friends to lovers romance. This book fits the bill perfectly.
Teddy Hamilton is great as always, I look forward to hearing more of Malcolm Young's work.
In fact if you like this book, I highly recommend "Date Me, Bryson Keller" by Kevin van Whyte. It's a lovely high-school afr MM romance.

Historia
The last thing Oliver Huang expects to see on the historic Mount Morris home tour is longtime acquaintance Fay Liu bustling up and kissing him hello. He’s happy to playact being a couple to save her from a pushy admirer. Fay’s beautiful, successful, and smart, and if he’s being honest, Oliver has always had a bit of a thing for her. Maybe more than a bit. Geeking out over architectural details is Oliver and Fay’s shared love language, and soon they’re touring pricey real estate across Upper Manhattan as the terribly faux but terribly charming couple Darling and Olly.

Too Short for the Price
Revisado: 12-03-19
I only bought this book because I love Emily Zoo Weller's work. The story was good and the performance was amazing as usual. But , I really didn't like the expensive listed price of this 3 hour book. I gave it 5 stars only because the book is good and for EZW. But if the publisher wants good sales for this book, then the price really should be under $10.00

Rule Number 1: Do Not Sleep with Clients. I was the best agent in the industry. More ruthless and cutthroat than any arrogant bastard you'd ever met. The top actors in Hollywood came to me to get signed. When I saw James Ryne, America's Sweetheart, standing across the bar, I wanted her body like I'd never wanted anything before. I broke rule number one. But, after all, I was a man. No one had ever mistaken me for a saint.
