This book is the best I listened to in a long time. The way the 2 main characters were woven into the story was incredible. I couldn't stop listening and so sad when it ended. This is not a cliffhanger but I can't wait until the next book because I will miss hearing about the lives of these 2 wonderful sisters. Sweet, sad, laugh out loud funny, so many great things it is hard to sum up in a review. Don't pass on this one.

Very light and sweet

Great listen. Loved that it took place in the late 90s and joked about Y2K. Sweet romance and great build of the characters through email and conversations. Very sweet ending. The narrator was just okay for me. She is not so good with male voices but don't let that stop you from picking up this great read.

Loved this one!

This was a great book told completely from the male point of view. I've read books that would switch off male/female in different chapters but never one that was all told from the guys side. I kept wondering what is "she" thinking and how could she keep with him the way he treated her - sometimes you wonder why she would not just kick him to the curb. I was so hooked on this story that I couldn't put it down. As soon as I finished it I went looking for more from this author. Unfortunately, the second one, Alex, isn't even close. Stick with this one. From the narrator to the story it is the best I've listened to in a very long time.

Not so Fixed

I downloaded this book because it had great reviews and the narrator was highly rated, however, I didn't like it. Honestly the story was too predictable and the narrator was just okay. If I had it to do over I wouldn't use a credit on this one. I won't be listening to the rest of the series.

Eaah..not for me

Kate is such an unlikable character it was hard for me to hope it would work out with Koti. I downloaded this book about 3 weeks ago and I still haven't finished it (I have about an hour or so left.) I've gotten to the point where Kate is such a bitch that I wanted Koti to find someone else. He deserves better. I guess it is good writing that I have such feelings for a character in a book but these are not the feelings I think the author was aiming at. Just not my style.

Didn't make it to the end

This story just didn't have enough to keep my attention. I ended up only listening about 1/2 way through. They were high school sweethearts, they broke up so she could go to NY and dance. They meet again at her mother's funeral and get back together. All this was done by the halfway point. I didn't see any reason to keep listening to see what would pull them apart and then back together again. I figured it would be a stupid misunderstanding. So maybe you don't go by my review since I didn't complete the book. I like Kristen Proby and enjoyed other books in the "With Me" series just not this one. Narration was just okay too but that may be the material they had to read.

I expected better from Jay

I loved all the Marked Men books and was hoping it would continue with the new series unfortunately it didn't (at least for me.) I didn't have a problem with Bax (Shane) having a rough past but she wrote it into the story too much or too often. He was "bad" I got it so you don't have to keep telling me - I didn't need to be reminded in every chapter. Dovie (hate the name - reminds me too much of Lovie) was okay as well. This book didn't have the sexual chemistry of the Marked Men books. They met, he asked her if she would have sex with him and she said okay. That was it. The narration is the only thing that saved it for me (or got me to listen to the end without turning it off.) I'm hoping this series will get better.

Another Beautiful Winner

Will and Hannah have a sweet story. I love Hannah's nick-name Ziggy and it was fun watching Will transform from a player into someone that she could trust. As someone that is also a runner I enjoyed their early morning workout meetings. The text messaging conversations had me laughing out loud. I had so much fun listening to this book and really enjoyed the narration. Don't hesitate on using a credit for this book, it is well worth it!!

Good but not Great

This is a great series but Emma is not my favorite character. I wouldn't say this is a bad book because I did enjoy it but it is not as good as Beautiful Bastard. Still worth a credit but it won't knock you over like the first book did. Narration is fantastic!!

The Best of the Beautiful Series

Wow, just wow. This book shocked the hell out of me the way it started and it just kept going. This takes the line between love and hate into a whole new place - a very good place. I have read all the books in the Beautiful series and this is by far the best. Great characters with strong female leads. Well worth a credit.
