This has potential to be a great series. Great world building and complex main character. It is confusing at times as scenes or narration shifts with no pause. The reading of stats gets very repetitive after a while, This is probably not as bad with print.

While it took a while to get in to, I really enjoyed the book overall. The characters are multi dimensional and the storyline is unique. The narrator did well with both male and female voices.

I realize that life happens and sometimes the narrator you've been using isn't available, but it was jarring going from one narrator to another after listening to the previous books back to back. This one might have been ok, but it just wasn't the same. Overall, the series was enjoyable, but somewhat slow in places.

I really enjoy these stories overall. The narrator is superb. The only issue, and at times it's a major one, are the inconsistencies in the story line. Inconsistent ideas in book (spoilers ahead)
Haeker said he had sex on 5 continents... one book said no Australia or Antarctica and two books later it said not in Asia. Glory was part of host in earlier book but Harker never brings that up and she's just a guardian. No Sparkles in first books but he was alive then. Luke can hear through walls but can't hear the voice on the call button when Cassandra comes to apartment. Harker has been with Luke for centuries but didn't know Watson. And these are just a few. Seems like editing would've picked up on these.
