The story and character development are excellent. It is well worth listening to and experiencing.

Waiting for the next book in series

I enjoyed these 3 books in the series as it was action packed and had characters I recognize as similar to people that I know in some way in real life with real issues they strive to overcome. I also like stories like this about dragons and their humans. Although each book was about 20 hours, it didn't seem that long to me. It is clear that the story needs to continue and I am hoping for the next audio book to purchase soon.

Excellent idea and work creating this Music

First I avoid subscriptions like music streaming costs and prefer to buy a few pieces to download if I want instead. It is difficult to find a calming music for sleep that lasts the night through. This does and my pets including cats enjoy it as well as myself! It is a gem. I only give 4 Performance stars to offer these suggestions. 1) Use 432 Hz instrument music or gentle tones when possible and mention in story description. 2) I like the added purrs but not all of them, especially at the beginning of some pieces where it seems like static for a few minutes. 3) Some titles could be given a little more slowly to be clear and perhaps I would give feedback on them. 4) One of the early chapters could be a guided meditation or perhaps a gentle nature vision bedtime story - perhaps one of each but no more. Cats like to be talked to, its one of the reasons they meow. Of course this can be used anytime of the day where calm is desired.

I intend to listen to the whole series. However, it is a bit irritating for Chet to have memories he couldn't have of Lita given how he came into the picture in the first book. That should be handled better. Still, I look forward to remainder of the books - hopefully more consistent.

Excellent food for thought

Although this is considered fiction due to it being from the cat's perspective, I wonder how many of the events are true from the observation of the cat's experiences. It is definitely a delightful and thoughtful story. In any case, I would like to find a copy of the free pdf or file that lists the 4 paws and their description mentioned at the end that are supposed to be on a website which apparently no longer exists.

I couldn't continue. There is no way I could relate to the character in the story to do so and I don't plan to try any more of Jeremy's stories.

Just right

There are too many fictional book series out there that are missing the point of having one or more characters in the story to relate to and follow. Either that or there are people that relate other than you or me. This one did not have that problem for me, and I consider it a great book and I really enjoyed it. After finishing this one, I immediately purchased the rest of the books in the series. In addition, I feel it is consistent enough to be believable in a fantasy book to keep my interest and relates well to many mysterious things in real life that people have wondered about. I also like the idea the first book is free in the plus catalog as it seems a ridiculous idea to make a book later in the series free or on sale in a daily deal when the first book is not. Why would we want to start there?

Looking forward to the next in the series

Now this is the start of a series that might inspire me to continue my annual audible club membership for. This one is similar to Anne McCaffrey's series that lasted decades except of course it carefully incorporates a bit more magic, so it probably has to be categorized as fantasy instead of science fiction like Ann wanted for hers. I am definitely looking forward to many more books. Note that I get frustrated with Audible because of their lack of desire to help us to automatically categorize, search and organize our own libraries. I can understand their need to attract us to buy more books or ..., but they will never get me to go the subscription access to any book method due mainly to their lack of interest in providing tools and possibly AI to help me organize the books I have identified as worth buying or have bought or adding to my library. In any case this series is one I do not want to lose track of. Best of luck to the author!

A new favorite dragon series

As a P.E.R.N. fan, I am happy to have this new series to listen to as I miss them. I sometimes even rp as a dragon. This book brings back memories of the white dragon, although the author is careful enough to avoid violating Anne McCaffrey's wishes regarding hers. The story is a bit sad but with a sense of not giving up and some accomplishments, I look forward to experiencing future books of the series.

Title is misleading

s/b Murder of his Majesty's Tiger. According to the title this should be about a Tiger. However apparently according to the description, the tiger is murdered (probably early on) so we don't get a chance to follow the Tiger's character over the story unless it's using flashbacks. My cats and I are not interested in the story.
