Historia
Stephen Oakwood has emerged victorious against the schemes of his aristocratic family. Now he finally has the opportunity to do what he’s been wanting to do for a long time: track down his father. But doing so won’t be easy. Stephen’s not so isolated any more, but the contacts he’s making in the magical world—everyone from the corporation he works for to the mother he’s just beginning to reconnect with—all have agendas of their own. And now a new group is emerging from the shadows, calling themselves the Winged.

Historia
Fusing details long known to Muslim scholars but inaccessible to popular audiences, Mohamad Jebara brings to life the gripping personal story of Islam’s founding prophet. From his dramatic birth to nearly being abducted into slavery to escaping assassination, Muhammad emerges as an unrelenting man on a mission. Surrounding the protagonist are dynamic women who nurture Muhammad; Jewish and Christian mentors who inspire him; and the enslaved individuals he helps liberate who propel his movement.

I enjoyed this read.

Fascinating look into the life of Muhammad. uses a factual approach and stays away from more spiritual aspects. Some of the facts presented are debated within the Muslim tradition. However, the author does an excellent job of prevent of presenting a unified and cohesive narrative that makes sense. one can imagine what it must have been like to have been Hamid in the 6th and 7th centuries.

review
Revisado: 07-06-20
a lot of people are complaining about the narrator's voice. wow there is a different narrator than the main story books, I thought the narrator was fine. Yes some of the child voices are a little bit different, but it can be difficult for an adult to sound like a child and on the whole I think people are being really nitpicky. I think the performance was fine. The story still came through pretty well. if someone is hesitating or having second thoughts about purchasing this book because of narration, rest assured that the stories are
just fine and the narration is fine.
