Big fan of Dungeon Crawler Carl so naturally I got this audio book. It was good, you can see the author’s growth when comparing the two series. Just ordered the second book and look forward to listening to it.

Brilliantly done SciFi with a mix of horror.

I have been a longtime fan of Scott Sigler and have eagerly anticipated this book. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The story is gripping and keeps you anticipating the next paragraph. Ray Porter is the perfect narrator. An overwhelming master work. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this one, it kept the energy from the first book. The narrator was very good and the story was equal to book 1. The characters were likable. I will definitely listen to the next in the series.

A real review after having fully read this book

Sandman Goes Woke

I really liked the first act and moved right on to act 2. The cast and dramatization was great but the story really went downhill. Instead of Morphius and his adventures, we are dragged through the life of mundane characters and their crappy lives.
By the time the tale gets to "Wanda's funeral", the story comes totally off the rails. Bashing the listener over the head repeatedly with the idea that tranny identity is supreme, we are subjected to childish behavior by Barbie at the funeral of her friend. This doesn't advance the story in any way, just pushes an agenda at the cost of the listener's time.
I wanted to love this story, but I don't think I will be continuing when Act 3 comes out.
