Great story but...

I loved the story, and the female narrator was good, but I just can't stand the male narrator. I did finish this book, but I am actively avoiding any books with him narrating. His voice reminds me of an old man, and it just doesn't fit the character. It makes him seem kinda creepy. I was totally aware that Roman was in his late 20s, but I just couldn't get past it. To top it off, Karas voice sounded like a teenager, which was appropriate because she was only 22 . Put the narrators in the same story and it was kinda gross.
The sound of a person's voice can make or break a story, so I wish that whoever chooses the narration for audio books would choose a little more wisely.

narrator isn't the right fit

I've listened to other books with this narrator and she was great. I just think that her style doesn't fit with this story. Lauren Fortgang is pretty much the best narrator for any Shannon Mayer book. It's not that this narrator is terrible or anything, she just simply doesn't fit.

I'm generally not one who likes supernatural type books because of them being way too far fetched, that being said, I loved this book! The way it was written made it seem believable. The authors did a wonderful job. I'm now on book #2 "splinter", and am going to listen to "mosaic" after.
Its narrated well also.

I love this story, and kirstens narration.

This is an amazing love story. However, Wes's narrator sounds way too old otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board. Probably my favorite rachel van dyken book. I just wish that a younger voiced narrator could have done Wes, or even the narrator who did Kirsten, Eileen Stevens, did a great Wes during Kirstens chapters that he spoke. It really does matter.
I still recomend thee book though.

I loved it!
I really wish Mia could write a book from Hawks point of view. He really did love Sam, but he couldn't get his life together in order to make it work. I for one would love to hear his side of the story from the beginning of "torn between two" through the end of " choosing forever". Until that happens I feel like I still haven't finished the story.
Regardless, both books together are one of my very favorite "rockstar romances", and a great romance in general.

Great conclusion to the 1st book.

Andi Arndt is so great doing casie and and jake. Joe Arden is great but I honestly would have liked listening to andi do both parts.
The story was great as well. Both books together are my favorite rockstar romance for sure, and just maybe my favorite romance all together!

Great story, narration was good too but what an ending! Very emotional, had me in tears, but twisty and turny. I thought I knew what was coming, then "boom" another twist.

Great book, and I love Andi Arndts narration.

I first heard Andi Arndt when I listened to "Cake", and fell in love with her. She was the perfect narrator for this story. I think that I liked it more because of her. I am totally getting the next book. This one is a cliffhanger.
