While the ethos for the book is apparent I feel it only perpetrates the need for a path to cultivating [rewilding] the sacred masculine. As is also the case for the narrator who seems to be less than authentically embodying the academia she purports in the tone she uses. Nevertheless I enjoyed the eloquence of the read and cannot discount the sociological relevance for the hypothesis.

This book changed my life. It gave me validation for being confounded by my own nature akin to Dr. Elaine Arons books however, I felt it went beyond in further defining my particular nature which is inclusive of being an Empath. What's more is that I feel like I have a second chance at living a life of meaning. A life that actually matters to me and my true values and principles. People by and large are in the dark but also naive about this topic. That is why I believe it is sociologically relevant to read it and better understand Human Nature from a brilliant Professional and now author pushing the field of Psychology forward.
