Putting aside the author's obsession Boucle, this book was a pleasant surprise! I loved it! It did take me a few chapters to warm up to it, but by the end, I was searching to see if there was a follow up. Very good read.

I loved the Narrator. she was fantastic!

I thought that this book was great fun! The Narrator made it very engaging and the story itself was easy to get invested in. The characters were endearing, and really amusing. If you love a good cozy mystery circa 1932, you will really like this story.
