The Plant-Based Baby and Toddler is your go-to resource, offering easy-to-digest nutritional facts and guidelines that aren't available elsewhere, with a special focus on the most important period of a child's life when it comes to developing good eating habits: infancy and toddlerhood.

I can see why this is a cult classic for new parents. The breadth of coverage is exhaustive, perhaps a bit much. Rather than 15+ hours of audio this really could be condensed down to one hour of critical information and 14 hours of common sense. If you’re the type of person who lacks common sense or find stating the obvious reassuring, then I would recommend this book. Otherwise if you have a good head on your shoulders I would find another book. Beyond what is covered, some of the ideas are beyond antiquated and sexist. Putting on make up when your husband goes to work is indeed one of the recommendations in this book. Further, in an effort to be funny, the book implants a variety of insecurities that don’t need to be there. I hope we’re all evolved enough to not have simple hangups after conceiving life.
