Charlie and Tristan are absolutely beautiful together. Tristan has a hard time trusting women, but adores the crap out of his little girl, Lexi. Charlie has a sad past, that is ultimately awful and makes her not trust very many people and she doesn't trust herself with other kids as well. When they first meet at a gentleman's club, Tristan gets kind of defensive with his daughter and makes a bad judgment call towards Charlie. He tries to figure out what his pull towards her is and if she can be trusted, which ultimately he decides that she can be. Lexi and Tristan are the big cure to Charlie's heart and they make the perfect little family. The ending leaves you waiting for Mason's story, which is hilarious and I just know it's going to be a good one. Gideon Frost has such a beautiful voice and I will listen to anything with him in it; while Marina Barrett is a new narrator for me, but I absolutely enjoyed her voice as well.

Rush...might be my fave

Ugh, I, honestly, love everything about Rush and Landry, which is saying a lot because the last book made me dislike Rush a bit. However, he redeemed himself at the end, and in this book he hit full redemption mode and I love him! Rush and Landry met at the beginning of the book and had quite the steamy moment, but they thought that they would never see each other again. Now, though, they're off limits with Landry being the coaches daughter and assistant coach and Rush being part of elite as one of their best swimmers. They have a wonderful attraction and the chemistry is way off the charts. I've fallen in love with sports romances and the boys of Elite have become some of my absolute favorites. Per usual, lots of twists and turns with some unwanted drama added in, but they do figure it all out and achieve their happily ever after.

Cecily Foster is one of my favorite female narrators lately and this book is no different. It's my first for listening to Gavin McAllister, but he is amazing and I enjoyed listening to him. Again, Pink Flamingo picked some great narrators to give life to these characters and the book. Absolutely loved it!

Marco and Bella...about time

Another Nikki Ash reread for me and totally worth it! We meet Marco and Bella in their parents stories, but now they get their own book and it's everything. There are some trigger warnings and a surprise pregnancy, but totally worth it all. This book goes back and forth between present and past for these two and catches you up on what's been missed since meeting them in their parents stories. I absolutely loved reading them, even the hard parts. This is, of course, a second generation story and to get the full low-down on their families you can go back and read their parents stories. Marco and Bella have always loved each other, but since he's older, he always tried to fight it, but once he opens his eyes, he's determined that he's going to be with her and they will live their happily ever after. It's well-deserved and Gregory Salinas and Kasi Hollowell were wonderfully chosen to narrate these two beautiful characters. Can't wait for more from these two!

Another great duet written by the wonderful duo!!

After reading Heath, I was totally set on listening to another beautifully written story by this duo and just my luck, it was a duet! This is a Greek mafia, dark romance, with a take on Hades and Persephone and was so intrigued to begin this story. Tropes for me are like a shopping list, according to my husband, so all the things in this book are definitely right up my alley.

Thalia thought she was finally getting somewhere with the sweetest boyfriend and college going just the right way, but leave it to her horrible father to completely turn her world upside down. All because of bad business dealings, she has now been promised to Kostas, who is the Greek mafia heir. He's handsome and a brute...totally a beast or hades; and Thalia is a very stubborn and independent female. They wage mental war with one another, but it's only a matter of time before they are madly in love. This book was everything from funny to dirty to everything in between and it keeps you on edge the whole time because you are trying to figure out what all happens to these two.

The narrators are wonderful and did a great job bringing so much to these characters. Sarah Puckett has the most wonderful female voice and is one that I hope to hear in other audiobooks while Jeffrey Holz is great for Kostas. However, he does not do a wonderful job of playing other voices, so beware when you're listening to be a little put off by that.

Another great story...

This is book 3 in a series all about Crew and Anderson. They are the best friends to lovers, MM, with triggers, so definitely look up if you are concerned. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they have had some very strong affection with each other throughout the entire series, but especially in this book. The three narrators are absolutely brilliant and make for a beautiful story. Can't wait to read more from Ashley James!! And listen to more of these narrators.

Such a piece of work...

Heath is a beautifully sad story that follows two different couples in a story-telling to a teenage girl....so technically three because the end of the book is all about her. I have had Heath sitting in my library for a while and, while I usually instantly read Nikki's books, this one kept slipping through the cracks. Nikki and K. Webster do a wonderful job of writing these characters...and I'm obsessed with their combined writing style. The beginning of the book kind of makes you had it and makes you hate how mean and hateful people can be, but then you get to the second part and the couple is absolutely beautiful together, and well the third part...the ultimate happily ever after! The first two characters are very mean and spiteful, to be honest, but the couples that follow after are amazing and make you want to finish the story even when it's bittersweet.

Lexi Evans and Logan Anare do a wonderful job of narrating and their voices are living rent free in my head. Lol. I hope to register to this in the future.

Ashley and Kaden... <3

Absolutely in love with anything that Nikki Ash writes and Ashley and Kaden's story is no different. Ashley is a single mom who has a very jaded past whereas Caden comes from the most loving family. These two are absolutely wonderful together and begin as best friends, but it turns into so much more. They helped each other move on from two awful pasts and find their way to love again. This story is told from dual POV and Christian and Heather do a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life. It's a friends to lovers, single mom, marriage of convenience, MMA romance and gives you all the feels from the get go. Since this is the fourth book in the series, you frequently see these two throughout the other books, but it's just bits and pieces and you never really know what's going on behind the scenes, so this book gives you closure on how these two find their beautiful/happily ever after.

Chef's kiss...

I didn't know how much I would like Sheridan Anne until I listened to this series. This book is an enemies to lovers high school romance narrated by Theo Sinclair and Maeve York...and is the third and final book in the series. We have followed Tanner, and this is the end to his and Brielle's stay. They have had quite the crazy relationship, but the entire book you wish and want for them to be together in the end. This is told from both POVs, which helps bring more character and girth to the story. I'm sad to see the end of their story, but love it nonetheless and will probably listen again sometime in the future. Also, these two narrators are absolutely amazing and, in my mind, the perfect voices for Brielle and Tanner.

Still burning...

Briar returns home after a summer away and was surprised to find all the changes going on in her life. From her mother being remarried to the house they are now living in...and most importantly the fact that her mom has had her enrolled at Saint U. As a way to act out, she attends a party where there's some tequila and some guys...except little does she know that the person she wound up with happens to be her stepbrother. This is a dark romance and involves some bullying, life threats and a professor who has some grudge against her. It ends on a little cliffhanger, but trust me, the next book will make up for it.
Cecily did a wonderful job narrating and gave so much character to Briar...can't wait to hear more.

This audiobook was wonderful!! New to me author, Diana A. Hicks wrote an angst, family feud, star-crossed lovers romance set at an elite high school in New York. Enzo and Aurora (Rory) run into each other when she’s fresh in New York and shopping for school. They wind up in school together and she finds herself in the drama of the five families of the mafia because of her father’s wrong-doings. They still manage to fall in love and have a whirlwind of a story to get to their happily ever after. The narration is spot on and Dane Anderson and Rose Dioro do a wonderful job bringing voice to these characters and making the experience immersive.

These are a duet and require reading book 1 before book 2 because it picks up 11 years after book 1. Thanks for the audiobook Diana and Indie Pen, hope to read more of your books in the future!!
