I recently was invited to read this book by a family member, I used Audible to listen rather than reading, due to my available free time would be while commuting/traveling. The books author was great at covering a lot of self-doubt that occurs within our own minds that everyone struggles with, but most don’t realize or want to acknowledge openly. The topic was well covered, and the clear point was not for the author to have express his accomplishments or accolades but instead, use his experiences and success at being able to speak courageously in front of crowds to encourage and empower others to use a similar strategy to do the same. I do have to say, reading a book and listening to a book, gives a completely different understanding to the emphasis of a book’s terminology, intention and emphasis. The narrator did a great job of conveying emphasis on the text and humor/sarcasm when necessary. I would highly recommend not only the book, but the audiobook for those who struggle with public speaking, presentations or anything. There are a lot of different resources for speaking engagements provided, helpful tools to utilize and a very clearly defined strategy to conquer your fear of speaking in front of others once and for all. Great job Cody!
