Historia
In his sleepy Yorkshire town, ex-detective Jackson Brodie is staving off boredom and malaise. His only case is the seemingly tedious matter of a stolen painting. But Jackson soon uncovers a string of unsolved art thefts that lead him down a dizzying spiral of disguise and deceit to Burton Makepeace, a formerly magnificent estate now partially converted into a hotel hosting Murder Mystery weekends.

Where is Jackson Brodie?
Revisado: 12-09-24
I thoroughly enjoyed Case Histories and anticipated the same quality. I tried over and over to get interested in listening but to no avail. Too many characters sounded too much alike and made it confusing. I am still a Jackson Brodie fan and am setting this one aside for another try. We all have bad days. Maybe I was when I tried repeatedly to listen to this one.

THE SHRILL NARRATION AND HORRIBLE ACCENTS MADE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FINISH. MEN SOUND LIKE COCKNEY 6 YR. OLDS, EVEN POLICEMEN, i.e.,, ERNIE. suppose we are stuck with Miss Raynor since she is narrating several more. PLEASE USE B. DUNN FROM NOW ON SO WE CAN ENJOY THE STORY. I am going to take something
for my migraine now.

Top Notch
Revisado: 06-01-20
I thought the nursing home premis was going to be too dry. The characters were well drawn, the tangled storyline made clear, and all made more entertaining by Michael Beck's excellent narration. Now I have to read the other Camino books.
