Historia
In Tibet, geologist David R. Montgomery heard a local story about a great flood that bore a striking similarity to Noah’s Flood. Intrigued, Montgomery began investigating theworld’s flood stories and - drawing from historic works by theologians, natural philosophers, and scientists - discovered the counterintuitive role Noah’s Flood played in the development of both geology and creationism.

Clear and concise thoughts
Revisado: 11-28-23
As a Christian who has struggled with aligning what is taught by more conservative brands of Christianity versus what science has found and proven, I found the book to be quit enlightening and thought provoking. I would argue that any Christian, regardless on their view of the creation story and its intent as written, to read this book and give it serious thought.

Historia
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

I love a Tiffany, but...
Revisado: 11-06-18
I love Tiffany and watching her movies and shows. The book was not quite would I expect for a major published book. I understand why the writing quality isn’t great, Tiffany explains that she was late to literacy, but I would have expected some more editing.
The story is ok, there are some funny parts. Found myself asking “what’s the point of this?” A lot.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Tiffany, and wish her the best. I guess I just expected a little more out of the book.
