The book is filled with people with a variety of accents yet none of the narrators attempt the non American accents. But speaking of which, their own regional accents are incongruent with the characters, why is the girl from Kentucky speaking with a New England accent? Also the story plot makes no sense. Motives are dumb. Plot holes galore.

The book it’s self seemed interesting, however the narrator was so bad I couldn’t finish. Her cadence was stilted and he sounded like she just got braces and made weird squelching sounds on “CH” “TION” and “SH” sounds. Could not listen a d I tried for 2 hours of the book. The story seemed interesting but not enough to keep with the narration.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The main character was a self centered pretentious Mean girl. Who couldn't get past her own self loathing and self doubt to not be terrible to those around her. The only likable character was Teddy. It wasn't like you loved to hate sharron, she was just THE WORST.

Would you ever listen to anything by Kayla Rae Whitaker again?

Possibly.

Did Alex McKenna do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I wasn't a huge fan of her narration and voices but I'd be willing to listen to her again. Why is the main character southern, and its first person but she only uses the southern accent when Sharron speaks out loud ? And Mel's voice was grating.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance and frustration. I wanted to slap the main girl and say get over yourself.

Any additional comments?

The animation references were driven down your throats in a pretentious way. Yeah liquid television and Ren and Stmpy were awesome, but it didn't make them unique that they loved them. I don't know how to explain this.

Hilarious, exciting and the narrator is AMAZING! I saw a panel with the author and NASA scientists at comic con and apparently bathe science of this book is completely accurate and NASA is actually using this book to help design their first manned mission to Mars.
And even if your like me and failed all chemistry and physics classes in school, you will still be able to follow this book and be 100% entertained!
