Historia
The trip of a lifetime! Rosie Lewis has her life together. A swanky job as a Michelin-starred sous chef, a loving husband and future children scheduled for exactly January 2021. That’s until she comes home one day to find her husband’s prepacked bag and a confession that he's had an affair. Heartbroken and devastated, Rosie drowns her sorrows in a glass (or three) of wine, only to discover the following morning that she has spontaneously invested in a bright pink campervan to facilitate her grand plans to travel the country.

Bow wrapped ending.
Revisado: 06-30-23
This was a good story and captivated me in the beginning but the deeper into the story the more it left me wanting. So many things that could have been pursued were left with the surface barely scratched. It was very romance driven and I was more interested in the story and the main character’s development. But that wasn’t the focus. Over all good and I enjoyed it but I felt unsatisfied with the ending.

Historia
On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. The groom: handsome and charming, a rising television star. The bride: smart and ambitious, a magazine publisher. It’s a wedding for a magazine or for a celebrity: the designer dress, the remote location, the luxe party favors, the boutique whiskey. The cell phone service may be spotty and the waves may be rough, but every detail has been expertly planned and will be expertly executed.

Amazing characters!
Revisado: 06-28-23
This story was captivating. The characters were so well written that they felt like people in real life not just characters in a book. They had these lives that were before the story and they continue after the story, if you know what I mean. I enjoyed that the “who done it” was not just who’s the murderer but also who was murdered? That was so exciting and nerve racking. The ONLY downside to this personally is that there was a sad element in it that I wasn’t ready for but that is %100 personal. Just my own trauma. That is the only thing that makes it a 4 instead of 5 for me. But it was so captivating that I stayed up much later than I should listening to it because every chapter kept me hooked. Thrilling without being gory. Funny without telling jokes.

Too much romance. Not for me but great writing.
Revisado: 06-23-23
This is not a bad review… just a “not for me” review. The writing is really well done. I wanted to read a spooky book and there’s just too much romance and not enough spooky for me. I read the woman in the mirror by the same author, and I loved it! But this one feels more sexually focused then that one. I’m not a romance book person so if you are I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Also the Australian accents are so much fun to listen to.

Historia
Fourteen-year-old Mona isn't like the wizards charged with defending the city. She can't control lightning or speak to water. Her familiar is a sourdough starter, and her magic only works on bread. She has a comfortable life in her aunt's bakery making gingerbread men dance. But Mona's life is turned upside down when she finds a dead body on the bakery floor. An assassin is stalking the streets of Mona's city, preying on magic folk, and it appears that Mona is his next target. And in an embattled city suddenly bereft of wizards, the assassin may be the least of Mona's worries.

Engaging and funny
Revisado: 03-06-23
The story moved along at a good pace and never felt slow or rushed! There were lots of moments that made me laugh. It had elements that seemed like they would be silly but some how came across as whimsical instead. Really great book.
