Since I live in Fernandina Beach, FL, I do like the familiarity of places and stories. American Beach has a wonderful history as well! I have missed a John Grisham book yet!

Beyond heartwarming, riveting and full or truth. I absolutely loved every part of this book. “Lightening Bugs” as I had always called now hold an even more special place in my heart.

Everyone should have the opportunity to tell their story. It is incredible the amount of influence that the media and paparazzi have in our world even though there’s opportunity for good,many times it it is abused. It does seem troubling that Harry was not allowed to at least keep his military honors. That was certainly earned. I admit that I had ordered this book in advance and not chosen to jump into it too quickly, because of all the negative news about the book, I found myself endeared with the fact that we all have a story and it is our own, and we do have the right to tell it.

I could not stop listening! The plot was intriguing and full of twists and turns. I liked the art theme and characters. The reader was fair. Voice changes to men sounded similar. I wanted to read the Muralist by Shapiro but it has the same reader, so will have to give it some time.

I listened to at a x1.1 speed. Once I familiarized myself with the characters and readers voice for each one, I could not stop! I listened to it every free moment. I was mesmerized by the story and could not predict the ending! Well done!
