I really liked this book. The story was well written and the narrators were excellent. I'm very picky when it comes to narrators. if they bad, I just can't listen. I'd rather read it. But they were both very believable and their voices went very well together. The spice was SPICING🔥. I love me a dominant alpha male. Plus...he's a priest (drool). So it was surprising and HOT when the spice spiced. There's a perfect amount of spice in this one with a good story. There's not a lot of action. It's mainly a comfort romance with gooooood spice. If you like a lot of action I completely understand if you want to bypass this book. However I'm one that loves a lot of action and this slow story was not bad at all. I don't think you won't be disappointed listening to this one. I enjoyed it very much.

now the reason why I give the story four stars or flames, is because I was expecting some sort of justice for her murdered mother. her death was known since beginning of the book and then when you see the connection at the end of the book it's like okay that's it. So that terrible alpha just gets away with it. other than that everything else was great but I just felt like I was shorted.

I haven't finished the book yet. The female narrator is just so overly dramatic and makes the FMC sound so pathetic. if she toned it down a bit this would be so much better to listen to.

I don't know what just happened to me, but this man's voice has a grip on my neck like NO MAN!? I was completely hypnotized. Every word and every sound that came out of his man's mouth had me screaming, giggling, laughing, blushing, you name it!!
Xero ❤️‍🔥 an assassin since childhood with dark desires and a deep, dark passion for his lady! But don't get it twisted, he is not a good buy. He kills people even if it's something they shouldn't die for. While in prison for murder, he receives a letter from a woman (even tho he's received dozens from others) she stands out and he starts to like her.
Amethyst 💔 a deeply wounded soul that has been abused since childhood. Abused by absolutely everyone including her mother. (Although you can argue her mother did her best with the cards she was dealt with). She is a recluse who found something in a man she'd never met. She writes to him while he's on death row. They become penpals and soon fall in love. They planned to get married before his execution and spend a 2-hour conjugal visit together. Something happens to her and she ends up missing it. He gets very angry and hurt. I will leave it at that so I don't spoil anything else. TRIGGERS TRIGGERS TRIGGERS! PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THEM! THERE ARE A LOT! This book is very intense.

family fan lights the best books. her orcs are absolutely amazing. I never really liked orcs until I was introduced to her book. And now I can't get enough. That being said there was only one thing I did not like about this book and it was the FMC. She was so annoying to me. She has feelings for John and basically falls in love with orc mountain. yet she continues to try to find things to give to her human so-called friends to start a war. proceeds to get upset with John because he's keeping things from her and lying when she's keeping things from him and lying. has the nerve to tell him that she can't trust him when she's literally trying to eradicate his species. there are times that I chuckled because of her stupidity. But of course as a story goes on she does get better and all is well. The spice hit hard and I absolutely love John. My favorite thing about this book was Tristan and salvy ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

this narrator was okay. he did a good job however Shane East in my opinion was the man for these books.
this one was slower paced. I did appreciate that this one had less lies and misconceptions. I did feel like I needed a little more drama in it because it felt like the book concluded in the middle of it and the second half of the book was just living about their lives. It is a slower paced story than the other books and it was enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this book. I have listened to the first one and the second one and I loved both of them. I like the fact that the first chapter is a whole life story about the triad. It shows where they are And how they are in life right before they find their mate. It is mostly about the romance then action around their issue. The main issue is more or less war between a kingdom and the rebels. That story is more in the background and the main focus is the romance. The only thing I would say is that the narrator pronounces one of the men's names wrong. She pronounces it as Kirs and or keers when it's Kriz.

I get what some of the other reviewers are saying about her whispering. It's not that she's whispering she's just extremely soft-spoken and it does get annoying at times. It doesn't really emphasize the emotion in what the character is trying to say when you're speaking so softly. So you do get a bit frustrated with her because of that. I'm halfway through the book and I felt like I had to review because of the soft voice (whispering) 😂 but the overall story was great just like the last two. The spice was spicing🔥🔥🔥. As I said, I am halfway through the book and I feel like the FMC could have avoided certain things if she would just communicate.... Is it worth your credit? absolutely. if you have read the first and second book and you are interested in this one you won't be disappointed.
