One of the best books I’ve ever read!
Revisado: 12-13-23
This book is a reminder of why I believe Randy Alcorn is one of my favorite authors. After reading Heaven, The Treasure Principle and Money, Possessions, Eternity, I had to read Giving is the Good Life. This book is biblically sound as Randy carefully unpacks the scriptural truths in a verse by verse manner through 1 Timothy 6, while seasoning his exegesis with numerous practical real life stories of giving and givers. I plan to read this book a few more times.

Historia
There is a missing force in Christianity today. It's a critical one, and its absence has led to weak believers, disintegrating families, ineffective churches, and a decaying culture. Without it, we lack what we need to fully live as heaven's representatives on earth. That missing force is discipleship. In Kingdom Disciples, Tony Evans outlines a simple, actionable definition of discipleship to help the church fulfill its calling.

Solidly Biblical Call to Action
Revisado: 02-12-23
As usual, Dr Tony Evans inimitable style of story telling combined with solid allegiance to biblical exposition came through strongly in this book. I recommend it to every single Christian who profess belief in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It will stir your heart but most importantly challenge you to be a true disciple if you’re not already one, and initiate a path for you to make disciples of others as well. Thank you Pastor Tony for this invaluable work. May God continue to bless your ministry. Amen.

Historia
Christians are a large and influential voting block today. But as each governmental election approaches, an increasing polarity occurs within those claiming the Christian faith. This comes as a result of party-voting rather than voting according to Biblical mandates and authority. To refocus correctly, Dr. Tony Evans goes back to the basics and teaches about how God established government as a divine institution whose tasks include promoting the well-being of those within its realm and protection from evil.

I am not a Democrat or a Republican, but a Kingdom Independent
Revisado: 09-14-20
Listen all whose eyes have fallen on this review! This book is a must read for every Christian who is eligible to vote in the United States of America. It carefully unpacks a biblical framework and practical principles on how to vote in a diligent and responsible way, without all of the animosity we see and hear in our day - especially leading up to what looks to be an extremely toxic election this year in November 2020.
It’s a quick read (listen) of less than 3 hrs, but I found it extremely helpful in solidifying how I sensed God wanted me to vote prior to reading this book. Now that I have read this book, I can better articulate my stand. One thing I know for sure and I am absolutely convinced of is this: I am not a democratic or a republican or a libertarian. I am a Kingdom Independent! I intend to vote in a way that examines key issues and advances God’s kingdom agenda in America. May God bless America. Amen.

Historia
For us Jews who grew up in Israel, Jesus and his word were never part of the conversation. Not in our school system, not in our synagogues, and not in our media. Nor do we have easy access to the New Testament. Jesus has been studiously avoided and hidden from our people. After almost 2,000 years, Jesus, or as we call him in Hebrew, Yeshua, can no longer be hidden from the people! Now, we can explain the Gospel to our people in a way that makes sense to them, in our own native tongues of Hebrew and Arabic, as only Israelis can and help our people understand who Yeshua really is.

Very Good Content, Narration Not So Good
Revisado: 08-29-20
I enjoyed the content of this book. Very good coverage and rebuttal to rabbinic objections to Jesus as the messiah. The One Israel movement is doing a very good job and should be supported because they definitely appear to me to be on the side of truth - Jesus is the truth. Jesus is God and the true messiah.
I believe every Jew will benefit greatly from reading this book. Non-Jewish Christians will benefit from all the info of their spiritual heritage through Christ who was a Jew.
My only disappointment was the narration. I was really surprised to see that it was actually a named person and not Siri. The voice sounded so robotic. I am still wondering if this was a mistake in my purchase. Anyway, I support all the content provided and endured the narration right to the end. In my opinion the content made up for it. I am afraid many won’t be able to do the same. I still recommend giving it a try. You can always ask Amazon to swap it out. The content is a must listen.

Extremely Well Written Testimony
Revisado: 09-14-19
I thought this book was extremely well written and although, I can’t see into Costi’s heart to assess motives, etc., all I sensed in my spirit as a bible believing born-again Christian is sincerity. Thank you Costi for your honesty, wisdom and courage in authoring this book to share details of this cancer in the church known as the “Prosperity Gospel”. Thank you also for your practical insights into what us Christians can do to help solve this problem.
