Definitely Worth a Llisten, Talk to your Kids

Overall a highly addictive dratic teen drama with quirky characters and a fun setting, but there are some flaws worth highlighting.

1) The author's portrayal of adolescent obesity is highly problematic and toxic. The use of dehumanizing language and self abuse of the main character is not consistent with the author's intended message. This sort of messaging can really fuck with a kid's head if they have an eating disorder.

2) Not going to sugarcoat it... The mc is the most blatant Mary Sue I have ever seen in published media, and I watch anime 😳. The unique setting keeps it from detracting too much from the story.

All in all, I would rec this for most adults, but if you have a kid listen, make sure to discuss what is and is not healthy when it comes to eating.

Surprisingly Bad

The goods: Some cool fights, a few interesting characters, and an interesting world

The bads: Bloated and poorly paced with too many filler chapters. The two main characters are really weak and don't really drive the plot.

The really bads: The author abuses and over uses dramatic irony to soap opera levels, it's yucky and makes the characters seem like lemmings. The author tells you that the big bad went through some growth, but the bog bad's actions say otherwise.

I found myself skipping entire chapters towards the end without missing any plot. These kind of litRPG slogs are definitely for someone, but not for me.

Good Narration, Bad Plot & Characters

TLDR: The plot is slogged down with filler, and the author hates his readers, but at least the narrator is up to par.

I've had mixed feelings about this series from the get-up, but I finally feel like it's time to drop. The prose is solid, but the plot and characters are weak. There's a strong webnovel-eske fight of the week slog that is made worse by the constant ability description rehash, and some major fanbaiting that falls flat with yet another snide soliloquy from the one dimensional Mc, that left me with the feeling that the author was mocking his readers.

There are quite a few genuinely funny jokes in here. The addition of Allwyyn is definitely a plus. the performance is among the best this platform has to offer.

Even Better than the First

Katana Jones kicks ass. I want another volume!

The story gets a level up in humor, intrigue, and character this time. The voice acting of Jones gives character gets a unique voice and personality. Definitely give this a listen.
