This story was absolutely fantastic! the characters were fun, there chemistry was insane, and the banter-- OMG! Gracie and Sam were an absolute perfect pair! I went excited to see if this was going to be another prince and the pauper retelling, which it isn't by the way, it's something truly its own. I love retellings, but I'm not at all disappointed that I got this story all wrong. I loved that this book brought forth positive Asian representation, and the fact that people may sometimes say things unwillingly that could be offensive to individuals of dual racial backgrounds. it was addressed in a classy, not aggressive way. I loved how Gracie learned to love herself, and her identity, and then came to realize that she deserved to love too. That Sam may be famous, but he's just like her in many ways. That he's just as lucky to love someone like her. This story is empowering, and fun, and romantic, and hilarious, and cute! The plot is adorable, and heartwarming, and slightly suspenseful. I could not put this story down! This is an absolute must read clean, fresh Romantic comedy, and I would recommend it for any age really. It was truly a delight to experience. I can't wait to ready this story again! Phillipa Soo performed the story well. I was very engaged in her reading, and look forward to more performances by her.

It was sweet.

This story was full of the usual angst that you would expect from a book by this author. The chemistry was intense, and the love felt real. The overall story wasn’t as satisfying. I got exactly what I wanted, but it felt like it was almost too easy. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but I feel like there should have been just a little bit more with the outside characters. Their involvements, and side stories all felt rushed and thrown in. This left them easily forgotten. Another thing that bothered me were the little end notes from like the napkin, and the cow, and the dead people, etc... I understand it was used as comedic relief, bomb dropping and/or extending info, but it just came across as really weird. It kind of ruined the book for me a little bit. It distracted from the story a lot.
That aside, I didn’t hate the story. I actually liked it. Mal and Tory are great. I loved their love. And I loved their journey. This just wasn’t my favorite book. I can see others definitely enjoying this book, so I would still recommend it.

So romantic

This story starts out amazing, and then stays that way until the very end. Casey and Jake have intense and undeniable chemistry that sweeps you completely off your feet and carries you away on a journey of the most romantic fantasy that will have you feeling every emotion under sun! There is angst, there is hot steamy sex, there is tragedy, and there’s a love story to rival them all. There are so many layers involved in this story, that I honestly didn’t know how this book was going to end. I can’t even begin to unravel how fantastic this story truly is without spoiling it all. So I’m going to stop right here by saying that you must absolutely read this book!! It’s mostly definitely my favorite book, that I’ve read, so far, this year!

These Narrators are a couple of my favorites, so they were, again, without a doubt, flawless. They always bring the stories they read to life. They are both amazing!!

Adorable!

While preparing for a family reunion, April enlists the help of Theo, an boyfriend for hire off of Craigslist. It goes perfectly, until actual feelings start to form. Will she accept his past, and does he really share her feelings, or is it all just part of an act?
This book was adorable. It was hilarious, and sweet, and really sexy where it counted. I loved these characters, and the overall story was exactly what I was hoping for. This is an excellent book to spend time with! I highly recommend!!

The actors really brought these characters to life, and made this story even better!

Laney and Nate are fantastic. It’s cute, and quirky, slightly relatable (ok maybe a little more than slightly), and filled with really funny random moments sprinkled throughout. I would high recommend this book to pretty much anybody over the age of seventeen. I would even suggest it to my mother-in-law, and that’s not a common factor in the stories I usually read. This book is amazing, and I am really anxious and super excited to move onto book two.

I went into this story already knowing that I was going to love it. This author is an exceptional writer, and her stories are unforgettable. Every time.
I was not disappointed, and all of my expectations were exceeded. Jordan and Pike had amazing and super intense chemistry. They were instantly and constantly drawn to each other. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I want everyone to read this story, because it’s absolutely fantastic. If you like underdogs that overcome massive amounts of personal angst to find their happily ever after then you will love this book. It delivers suspense, angst, romance, and moments that make you giggle. Read this amazing book ASAP. It’s definitely one of my favorites that I’ve read this year.
You will also never look at a loofah the same ever again, and definitely not without giggling a little bit.

hilarious and steamy!

These characters are nothing short of ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I was drawn into this story immediately. The guy was hilariously persistent and absolutely dreamy. The stubborn heroine was his perfect match. This is a top read for me. It had everything you need in a love story. Angst, steam, twists, and parts that leave you giggling and gasping for air. I will be recommending this story everywhere!

This is a story about a girl that spends the first 25 years of her life involved in all forms of domestic violence. I was devastated for her during the entire first half of the story. It's a tale about overcoming every bad thing that comes at you, and coming out even stronger and better than before. A story of redemption that is worth reading and worthy of being shared. It's unbelievable that that these type of situations actually exist. So much heartache, but also, so much happy ending. A totally epic read.

This story has it all. Sexy dudes, sarcasm, hot moments, and adorable melt your heart laugh out loudness that keeps you hanging on for more! I loved this book, and would read it a million more times, because these characters are nothing short of absolutely fantastic!!
