Historia
The kompani see none as an enemy, and yet few as friend. The kompani exist in many places, living quietly in the shadows, thriving off the bounty that others have no wit to secure, nor skill to defend. Their private history is unwritten; their recall rooted in dance and dream. The Clan Korval is in many ways the opposite of the kompani. The interstellar trading clan is wealthy in enemies, and fortunate in friends. Korval protects itself with vigor, and teaches even its youngest children the art of war

Wonderful Characters
Revisado: 05-04-25
I just relistened to the whole Arc of the Covenants sequence and am struck, as always, by how much I love these characters, their individuality, the detailed, complex story and Lee and Miller’s angle on what I call social-science fiction, exploring possibilities for relationships, societies and cultures. The short stories in the Liaden Universe Constellations (4 & 5 for this sequence) add even more detail and depth. It’s a world I love be to be immersed in - often.

A wonderful addition to the series

I love the Mary Russell series. This one has some new family history. The new narrator did a great job.
