Any additional comments?
OMG! I absolutely loved this book as much as I loved the previous two. In every novel we learn just a little bit more about the Grey Man, but left still wanting to know more at the end. Why or why hasn't Hollywood made a movie true to these books yet???? I guess they would just rather remake the same movies over and over again! Please oh please keep this series going!!!!

It is a society that is, officially, a paradise. Superior to the decadent West, Stalin's Soviet Union is a haven for its citizens, providing for all of their needs: education, health care, security. In exchange, all that is required is their hard work, and their loyalty and faith to the Soviet State. But now a murderer is on the loose.

Hate it!
Revisado: 08-03-11
One of the most depressing books I have ever read. I couldn't even finish it because it was so grey and miserable. It starts with eating children, to murder, to attempted rape. Wow! I like action, mystery, science etc, but this I just could not push through. I was hoping for a Salt, kind of story but that is not what this book delivers. If you like dark and depressing by all means spend your credit.

great!
Revisado: 08-03-11
I loved this book! It is just so fun! I love Mrs. Polifax and totally imagined Angela Lansbury or someone of that caliber playing the part! It is just the right amount of light, yet suspenseful! Please.....someone make a movie but make sure you hire just the right lead. For example NOT Angelina Jolie (as they have for Scarpetta.ugh!)

A lazy river of a novel
Revisado: 07-26-11
Though I was interested in the story and the characters, I found the novel to lazily meander through time with no real twists or turns in the plot. Once all the players were introuced the plot was predictable to the end.

loved it!
Revisado: 03-02-11
Let me first say that I am not a physicist, nor have I taken any type of physics class since high school. I do however have a keen interest in the cosmos and it's genisis. This book was great! Somehow, Kaku has a the knack of translating his vast knowledge and making the reader understand almost everything. He is an amazing teacher! There were a couple of spots that were a little tricky to navigate, but they are summountable. I finished the book saying "Hey, I know physics!". If you have interest in such topics, this would be my first stop on the knowledge train!

just OK
Revisado: 03-02-11
This book was just OK. I have enjoyed the Prey books before but found this one fairly lackluster compared to it's predecessors. Maybe it was the reader, who made the charcters either sound alike or annoyingly whiny. Not sure which was the culprit, but if I were a first time reader it wouldn't persuade me to purchase another.

Historia
There was a time when “universe” meant all there is. Everything. Yet, in recent years discoveries in physics and cosmology have led a number of scientists to conclude that our universe may be one among many. With crystal-clear prose and inspired use of analogy, Brian Greene shows how a range of different “multiverse” proposals emerges from theories developed to explain the most refined observations of both subatomic particles and the dark depths of space.

not for the faint of heart
Revisado: 03-02-11
This is not for those who know little of theoretical physics. I found it hard to follow and keep concentration on this book. It's theories are complex and profound and not easily translated to the layman. If you are looking for easy listening and translational material check out Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku.

thrilling
Revisado: 12-19-10
This was a great book! Well worth the one day I took to listen to it :) Fast paced, non-stop, thrilling excitment, which offers our first glimpse at a new dark hero. Greany was clever enough to offer us a snippet of the Grey Man's persona, but left me wanting to know more by the end of the book. Fabulous! Hurry, hurry to the next one. I heard this was the book the Tom Cruise movie "Day and Night" was based on????? If so, the producers were morons to Hollywood-ise this story and turn it into the flop that movie was. They should have made the movie word for word from the book and find a dark but righteous hunk to play the role...Clive Owen maybe??? Forget the movie....get this book.

Historia
John Lowery was declared dead in 1968—the victim of a Huey crash in Vietnam, his body buried long ago in North Carolina. Four decades later, Temperance Brennan is called to the scene of a drowning in Hemmingford, Quebec. The victim appears to have died while in the midst of a bizarre sexual practice. The corpse is later identified as John Lowery. But how could Lowery have died twice, and how did an American soldier end up in Canada?

little disappointed
Revisado: 11-27-10
I was a little disappointed in this book. This is the first of the series I have read and really like the TV show Bones. Of course, I expected the main character to be slightly different TV to print, but I found Temperance to be a a completely different breed all together. This was a little odd! The story itself was convoluted and hard to follow when listening, especially when talking about case numbers. I can't say I won't listen to another in the series, but I don't think it will be my next purchase.
