Historia
As the dreary, bitter weather of late fall descends on Minneapolis, Detective Nikki Liska is restless. After moving to the cold case squad in order to spend more time with her sons, she misses the rush of pulling an all-nighter, the sense of urgency of hunting a murderer on the loose. Most of all she misses her old partner, Sam Kovac. Sam is having an even harder time adjusting to Nikki's absence, saddled with a green new partner younger than pieces of Sam's wardrobe.

boring
Revisado: 11-05-15
I was really looking forward to this book after reading the reviews. I waited & waited for the terrible not for the faint of heart parts.. the wait was loooong! those parts were not all sharing of details for it to be said that one should not read the book if you are easily sickened. I suppose that as we are all individuals we all have different levels at which we become sickened by a story. dnt get me wrong, I believe that the things that were (supposedly) being done is twisted but in this book it was vastly left at the readers (listeners) imagination. I'm very happy that so many of you enjoyed this book but if u are truly looking for edge of ur seat, holy crap, take a break bc that was harsh but cant stop gotta know whats next kind of story, this is NOT it.. the plot was great, narrative was good, however lack of detail and dragging along is having me call for my credit back.

loved it, it is a tad slow at the very start, then guessing your enjoying the mystery.
narrative is spot on, no super silly fake but not fall asleep monotone.
it is a nice who did it, not super gory or graphic (as I do preferr), but not pg 13 either.

Historia
On a frigid New Year’s Eve in Minneapolis, a young woman’s brutalized body falls from the trunk of a car into the path of oncoming traffic. Questions as to whether she was alive or dead when she hit the icy pavement result in her macabre nickname, Zombie Doe. Unidentified and unidentifiable, she is the ninth nameless female victim of the year, and homicide detectives Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska are charged with the task of not only finding out who Zombie Doe is but who in her life hated her enough to destroy her. Was it personal? Or could it just have been a crime of opportunity?
