Didn't Hold My Interest

I wasn't a fan of the startup story. There is no "suspense" until more than halfway through the book. Even the suspense was weak. It reads more like a drama fiction with how-to type tidbits of beginning a startup. I also found it incredibly annoying with the minute details of things that didn't add to the story or character building. At the end of the book, it was clear that you needed to get the sequel to finish the story. There were way too may unfinished issues.
This story just wasn't interesting enough to me. Had to force myself to finish it and I feel duped into having to purchase the sequel so that I could hopefully get some closure to the story.

Couldn't Stop Listening

The story had me hooked from the beginning and the mystery wasn't totally predictable. I felt the progression from building characters through story development was the proper pace and kept me engaged. There were a few spots where I thought the short snippets were not required for the story, but overall I really enjoyed it. I could see this becoming a series built around Gibson Vaughn.
