Historia
Viva Durant, New Orleans’ youngest detective, is on a quest to solve a jazzy mystery. Every summer, Viva heads to New Orleans to spend time with her loving but stern Grandmother, known as Gram. After Gram reads Viva an article in the local paper about a missing treasure related to the world-famous song, “Miss Mary Mack”, Viva heads through the Crescent City on an epic adventure to track down the treasure. The clues lead Viva to the French Quarter, a jazz club, a creepy cemetery, and even the circus.

We loved it!
Revisado: 10-07-21
My kids and I started listening to this book during our morning commute to school. After the first ride, it became a part of every ride; to the grocery store, to the salon, to dance, etc etc. I went to Dillard University in New Orleans, so hearing all of the street names, city names and food references just brought back memories! I felt like my kids got a glimpse of the cultural and wonder of New Orleans as I reminisced while listening. So well written and we enjoyed the twist at the end. Kudos to Ashli for writing a story that was truly family entertainment! That’s becoming harder and harder to find these days.

Historia
Since the dawn of time, people have been fascinated by those who claim to have extraordinary psychic abilities. The fascination has reached a fever pitch with the rise of modern media. It is safe to say that many of these folks are either extraordinary frauds or extraordinarily deluded. But could some of them be legitimate? Do some people actually possess psychic gifts that can be used to help and heal?

Awakening.
Revisado: 10-28-20
Thank you Jenniffer Weigel for following your guides and your intuition to gather the stories and write this book. I was enlightened about myself and the depth of my spiritual experiences while listening. So much so that my aunt and uncle who raised me and are now deceased, came to me, spoke to me, shared how proud they are of me and how much they love me and my family. I received it openly and that experience helped me realize how active my spiritual encounters have been all of my life. Now I can put words to the experiences I’ve lived that now make so much sense. Thank you!

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

I couldn’t stop listening...
Revisado: 10-22-20
...and finished it in 2 days. The best movie I’ve ever listened and connected to with a sense of urgency. Listening to Matthew McConaughey tell his life story was infectious and by the end of part 8 these words came to mind: ‘that’s a cool ass White man with an indigenous soul.” I’m keeping “Pivot. Persist. And Deal” as my theme for 2020 and beyond. Thanks for sharing your story exactly like this!

Historia
Don and Mimi Galvin seemed to be living the American dream. After World War II, Don's work with the Air Force brought them to Colorado, where their 12 children perfectly spanned the baby boom: the oldest born in 1945, the youngest in 1965. In those years, there was an established script for a family like the Galvins—aspiration, hard work, upward mobility, domestic harmony. But behind the scenes was a different story: psychological breakdown, sudden shocking violence, hidden abuse. By the mid-1970s, six of the 10 Galvin boys, one after another, were diagnosed as schizophrenic.

Phenomenal
Revisado: 07-07-20
I love the way this book was written and how the family’s story was interwoven into the chronology of the scientific research. But most of all, I’m so proud of Lindsey for her grit, resilience and proactive approach to keeping her children well. Praying that I can meet Kate and shake her hand one day for the discoveries she and other schizophrenia researchers are going to make that will help this and future generations!!

I knew there was something about James Comey I liked!
Revisado: 01-28-19
To know that a person with strong moral, ethical, spiritual, and humanistic beliefs was responsible for leading the FBI, given past leaders, is a breath of fresh air and a relief. To know that he left an indelible impression on the rookies to the seasoned agents lends hope at a time when hope looks very bleak; but it will be sustained. This book was an enlightening insight into a part of government civilians rarely learn about in real time. There was just enough details to elicit an array of emotions; I didn’t expect to “LOL” during this book, but did several times at his slick witty humor. Definitely recommending it as often as possible! Thank you Mr. Comey for sharing your life and for your role in protecting Americans.
