Historia
Captain Astuawilda Kaika is an elite forces soldier, a demolitions expert, and a woman who loves secret missions. She most certainly isn't someone with the patience to teach General Zirkander's raw cadets how to survive encounters with the enemy. Certain she's been given this duty as a punishment, she confronts her superiors, only to find out that King Angulus himself gave her the assignment.

Dragon Lore
Revisado: 02-27-22
I was concerned that the series may be losing some momentum. It most certainly picked up with a dash of dragon and other out of this world findings. I’ve finished this book quickly and now have to wait for my next credit for the next book. I was surprised after getting the first part of the series in a trilogy and finding out this series is enormous and she has written multiple books and series. I’m curious to try others as well and what content it has and how I like the different narrator.

Pleasant read
Revisado: 02-23-22
It elaborates on the storyline that you want to know. However our sorceresses power doesn’t seem to grow so that you see what her full capacity is through the series. The theme of rashes Carrie’s through but it does continue to answer questions. The storyline is losing some gusto but still keeps you in place because you want to fill the outline of the characters.

But when a jealous Augustus Caesar demands that her children be given over to him to be fostered in Rome, Selene is drawn back into the web of imperial plots and intrigues that she vowed to leave behind....

I just by chance came across this author on audible. I bought the entire series of the three books. Excellent. I could’ve continued on with the story if there was another book. I will definitely give this author another chance to see if anything else she wrote is as good as a series. Very imaginative and it pulls you into a historical romance. I have an enjoyed a book series like this since Eragon.

Excellent on paper and in Audible!
Revisado: 08-05-21
I am in my late 40s and thoroughly enjoy this series. I own the first three books on paper and read them and bought the fourth. I knew It had been awhile since I had read the first three in the series and knew I would have to reread them to be able to remember all the details. I chose to buy all four of them on audible and listen to them that way. It’s a great way to be able to decipher certain words instead of trying to figure it out on your own. You create a movie in your head. Great writing. While the original Eragon book versus the movie are very different I am hoping that the Author will allow the entire series to be done like the Hobbit and GOT’s series were filmed! It would be amazing! So here’s to hoping….

Historia
Working with thousands of patients, Dr. Gundry has discovered that the “diseases of aging” we most fear are not simply a function of age; rather, they are a byproduct of the way we have lived over the decades. In The Longevity Paradox, he maps out a new approach to aging well - one that is based on supporting the health of the “oldest” parts of us: the microorganisms that live within our bodies.

I recommend having both the hard and audible copy. He gives so much information. I’m a visual learner, it just makes sense to follow along and then I can see the words that I’m not sure of. I enjoy his insight. I want a book to highlight and a notebook for taking notes.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Bright lights for those who can learn from watching!
Revisado: 06-16-21
Listening to his story and life was refreshing and eye opening! While we like to pretend to know we really don’t! His portrayal of his green lights makes him accessible! He’s honest and true with great lessons to teach and relaxing to listen to! I’ve listened to it twice in a week! He reminds me life isn’t over and you can reinvest in yourself and reinvent you! He offers hope without trying. He shows you that it isn’t all in who you know. He did without being handed it. He’s real and relatable. His portrayal of self makes me wish he was a friend or relative. He’s that person that keeps you straight. He’s that friend or family member we all need! I think he would be a hoot to hang out with!

This was a thorough history lesson. The Author keeps your attention while educating you on aspects of being a Lakota and the challenge and changes that came with the Nation changing. I was made aware of details I was unaware of. I recommend this book. He honestly gives fair views of everything.
