Historia
A collective amnesia strikes the globe, deleting our memories for all the events and people that make us who we are. If our past weighs us down, does forgetting it free us? Set in the present, this high-concept thriller follows the intertwined fates of an intense war correspondent (Max) and an offbeat con artist (Chen), as they piece together their lives and save each other in the back alleys of Los Angeles. It is Max who follows a lead all the way to Antarctica, where he finds trouble, then horror, and finally the cause of the global catastrophe.

Fast, Fun, and Hard to turn off
Revisado: 07-08-20
This story was a great, fast-paced escape about a sudden onset of unexplained amnesia. It was original, intelligent, and funny - right up until it was suspenseful and frightening - and then I really couldn't stop listening. I also appreciated the ending. Great performance by the narrator. Try it - you will be glad you did.

Historia
In this mainstream thriller, Christ's DNA is discovered in an ancient relic—and secretly used to create a clone. This is the story of Jesus' human twin—and his quest for identity in 21st Century America. Who will this young man be exactly? And how will we react when he leaves his sheltered childhood and enters our modern world?

Fascinating What If Story
Revisado: 04-03-20
I almost dismissed this book as being another modern day religious fiction but I am glad I didn’t. This is a current secular novel so don’t be put off by the subject or title. The story was engaging, thoughtful and provocative. the narration was fantastic. I highly recommend The Secret Jesus and can’t wait to see what Sue Stephenson comes up with next.
