Historia
Samantha is a professional seductress and con artist with a heart of gold. If she talked about her work, she’d tell you she only pilfers organs for medical research and that she only takes one kidney, and she only steals those kidneys from dishonest people. It’s hell on her social life. Abe is the doctor and Sam's partner in crime. He isn’t much of a criminal. Except for the kidney stealing. But he’s using that money to fund his research that he anticipates will be able to cure diabetes. So, all for a good cause...? You decide. Of course, it's hell on his social life.

Entertaining when Performing Mindless Tasks
Revisado: 02-09-20
A fun, audio tale which kept me engaged and properly distracted through some mindless tasks. I enjoyed the use of multiple actors as it brought more depth to the listening. The narrator was amusing and helpful in tying the story together. If you are looking for something pretty quick, this one is entertaining.

Engaging and interesting listen
Revisado: 12-31-19
I listened to this book over the course of three days as I was doing tedious, interior painting. Listening to the narrator’s performance really helped my work time fly by. I found the story compelling and interesting on several levels: family of origin, childhood trauma, motherhood, relationships and mental health. The narrator’s use of different and distinct first person voices really drew me into the story and held my attention. I found myself hurrying back to my task so that I could find out what was happening with each of these characters. Count me pleased that the story had enough twists and red herrings that I was even surprised by the turn of events in the ending.
