Long winded and dramatic
Revisado: 03-22-18
I liked the first part of the book but as i got deeper in the story, I wondered why it kept going on and on. I think it could’ve used some editing. Also it seems over the top and a little unbelievable at times.

Historia
Does the chance of getting caught affect how likely we are to cheat? How do companies pave the way for dishonesty? Does collaboration make us more honest or less so? Does religion improve our honesty? Most of us think of ourselves as honest, but, in fact, we all cheat. From Washington to Wall Street, the classroom to the workplace, unethical behavior is everywhere. None of us is immune whether it's the white lie to head off trouble or padding our expense reports.

Good read but a little dry
Revisado: 03-08-18
Where does The Honest Truth About Dishonesty rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It isn't the best, but it wasn't a bad read.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Honest Truth About Dishonesty?
The author explains the link between creativity and dishonesty, and I found that very interesting.

Historia
Shrill is an uproarious memoir, a feminist rallying cry in a world that thinks gender politics are tedious and that women, especially feminists, can't be funny. Coming of age in a culture that demands women be as small, quiet, and compliant as possible - like a porcelain dove that will also have sex with you - writer and humorist Lindy West quickly discovered that she was anything but. With inimitable good humor, vulnerability, and boundless charm, Lindy boldly shares how to survive in a world where not all stories are created equal.

Not worth the read
Revisado: 01-26-18
What disappointed you about Present over Perfect?
The information presented is very abstract, and as someone who prefers concrete action in books I found this to be a frustrating read. I regularly read self-help books and this is definitely one of the weakest. Also, I'm not a Christian so in my view all the references to god were obnoxious. I was looking for a book to help me overcome my perfectionism but was severely disappointed.
