Very exciting.
Revisado: 04-14-25
The story was very exciting all throughout. Maggie is so brave. Bat is valiant in his efforts. The bad guys are really bad but totally one sided. I never knew there was a Cariboo Canada as well as Caribou. I was confused for a while until I googled the word.

The narrator was awful. She read as if she were reading a kid’s book to children. It got way in the way of enjoyment of an interesting story.

Ágatha is back!
Revisado: 03-23-25
Ágatha is such a wonderful character with flaws and brilliant abilities. The rest of the characters are believable. The storyline is complicated with several different crimes and a fete. Of course, Agatha solved them all. Alls well that ends well in this humorous mystery.

Historia
Max Tudor thought he'd left the world of deceit when he resigned from MI5 to become an Anglican priest. Then his bishop asks him to return to his Oxford college, St Luke's, to investigate the death of its chaplain, and Max realizes there's no leaving the past behind. At first, Max agrees with the official police verdict of death by natural causes. The Rev. Ace Graybill was as harmless a man as ever lived. It's difficult to see how he managed to cross anyone capable of murder.

Historia
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

The story is great
Revisado: 03-16-25
The continuing characters were full and likable. The new ones were interesting but the evil characters had no backstory to make them believable. All told, I really liked this book, the author and the wonderful narrator.

Great story
Revisado: 03-05-25
These are fully rounded characters. Of course, it’s the fifth in a series so I’ve had a chance to meet and understand both of them. The new characters caught up in this wonderful tangled mystery of past and present provide an incredibly good storyline. Surprise ending, of course. The narrator is amazing.
