The relationship between Ethan and Olive was told done in a witty way. Ethan and Olive are right for each other.

Amy and Dean story was sad. I just felt that the writer made Dean out as one dimensional because he is written as a cheater. I just felt that I would of appreciated if the book had added a scene between Dean and Amy in order to understand why he cheated.


Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this book.

Absolutely loved reading this book. I loved how the author brought these two characters that on the surface are different yet share the damd pain of losing a love one.

I love how over the years as they heal their hearts from losing a friend and fiancee they begin to see each other better.

Clever premise

While in reality if this happened. It would be weird and very strange. However, Megan and Chase story was told with so much love and understanding of bereavement.

I would have liked for the author to have made a series for this book. The author wrote Devon and Hannah characters really well and so it is a shame we do not get a story about them individually or together.

So much to explore in regards to Hannah and Devon (Megan brother).

You get what you want from this kind of books. The writer had a amazing plot but just did not develop the characters throughly. All these characters were surface level.

The last book "Going in deep" subject material was very difficult for me to enjoy. Addiction and mental health are such difficult topics to address and to be made into quickie romance fell flat for me.

Julian manipulation creates hurt and distruction.
Forgiveness is one thing. But how does Kandell forgive Julian who not only hurts her but her brother-in-law and sister.

For Kendall to forgive Julian and start an relationship makes no sense to me. I feel the way the writer created Kendall character would never in million years forgive.

He did these things to Kendall and Kaden when he was sober and clean. How can you be so malicious and say it for your sister. Julian behavior was unacceptable regardless of financial issues.

Book 4 for me was to much of false narrative.
