Sadly, the demented details of this monsters thoughts and obsessions became boring. Once the shock value is gone, its just a sad cowardly soul desperate for attention who was never as clever as he believed he was. He spent his whole life trying to impress himself by destroying good peoples lives including his own family. I expected more insight on a serial killer, but this guy is just not that interesting. The author did do a good job putting the book together. I'm just left feeling sad for the victims and their families. So random .

Nikki Sixx bares his soul in this book. He clawed his way back from certain death, and actually died while doing it. Much respect.

Haven't listened to narrator before but he did an excellent job.

Very sad but uplifting

If you love true crime, this is not long on actual details of the crime. It is a powerful story of a victim's survival and their journey with God to find the grace and dignity to live on after a horrific loss. I'm annoyed by the anti-religious who choose to write biting reviews because of the victim's belief in God. If religion isn't your thing, put the book down and be graceful, like the victim in this story. Terry is an unlikely example of human nature at its best, a negative soul will miss that important detail.

If you didn't follow the trial, this would be a good read. If you followed the trial, this is just a summary of the murder case and court coverage.

What could Jane Velez-Mitchell have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Done some more background research on Jodi Arias. There has to be some "family secrets" out there that formed her twisted personality.

One of King's Best Works!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Fans of King will love the storyline and characters. If you haven't read his work, you'll get sucked in and become a fan.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Doctor Sleep?

The way the story ties into The Shining, but don't want to spoil it for new readers.

What does Will Patton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Loved the narration. Kept me interested, great use of inflection and different voices to help you visualize the story and feel part of the action.

The Stand has always been my favorite book by Stephen King. I would put this in the #2 spot!
