Historia
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

Couldn’t stop listening
Revisado: 02-05-23
I finished in 24 hours! The main character, at first, was not at all likable to me. Rigid, uncompromising. I soon discovered these more so called negative characteristics, exhibited her strength.
Overall wonderful character development.
One of the best listens I’ve had.

Historia
Gunmen are terrorising young women in the Cathedral town of Lafferton. What - if anything - links the apparently random murders? Is the marksman with a rifle the same person as the killer with a handgun? Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Serrailler falls back on well tried police methods such as questioning neighbours and house-to-house searches.

Poor story
Revisado: 07-11-15
Disconnected characters who didn't make sense or impact the story. Not worth the time to listen to except it was preformed/read well.

Historia
Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Another Amazing Book in the Continuing Saga
Revisado: 04-12-15
It's hard to summarize DG's books with anything other than to give them high praise for continuing to stay true to the beloved characters, Jamie and Claire. Always action packed with a few unexpected twists.

Historia
He meets women. He gains their trust. He kills them. That's all London police detective Maeve Kerrigan knows about the man she is hunting. Three women have been strangled in their homes, and it appears to be the work of the same sadistic killer. With no sign of break-ins, every indication shows that the women let their attacker in willingly. The victims' neighbors and friends don't seem to remember anything unusual or suspicious, and Maeve is almost at a loss about how to move forward with the investigation.

Historia
Vast wealth offers London defense attorney Philip Kennford a lot of things: a gorgeous house with a pool in the backyard, connections in the top echelons of society, a wardrobe worthy of Milan runways. But his money doesn’t provide a happy marriage, or good relationships with his twin daughters...and it does nothing to protect his family when someone brutally murders his wife and daughter in their own home. When Detective Constable Maeve Kerrigan arrives at the scene, the two survivors - Philip and his second-favorite daughter, Lydia - both claim to have seen nothing, but it’s clear right away that this is an unhappy family accustomed to keeping secrets.

I really enjoy this series and the narration is very good! She has me laughing at Derwent's character and the way she portrays him!
