This Abbridged version was a terible edit & skips
Revisado: 02-20-22
After re downloading, "The Ultimate Science Fiction Mega Collection: 24 of the Best Sci-Fi Books of All Time", I finally realized it was a terrible edit that skips continuously. I'm picky choosing a narrator and noticed this Mega Si-Fi Audio book Collections abridged version destroyed the narration. In the end, after 1 1/2 stories, I gave up, put it down, and chalked this one up as a loss. Hopefully more of us will realize abridged versions loose more readers do to lack of proper editing to save time on the read. A final note to the narrators of this mega Si-Fi audio book, please accept my apologies if I offended you in any way, that was not my intention. Continual skipping and repeated lines, due to poor editing and possibly a faulty download were the reason I stopped.

Adam has a lot of stories to tell, which is fair given he's been alive for over sixty-thousand years. All of the stories are interesting, many involve alcohol, and five are collected for the first time in The Immortal Chronicles!

Couldn't put it down
Revisado: 03-15-21
I enjoyed the book emmencely from start to finish and I was happy when Milli found out she was just like David. Even the narrator made this a great read. I'm on my third Jumper audiobook and they are are great. I believe this could be the beginning of great reads. Thanks to the authors, Steven Gould and MacLeod Andrew's I'll be reading more of these types of books.

Historia
One small handwritten letter, sent from a dark, remote corner of the planet and lost in the system for 60 years, is about to change the entire human race. Outside Denver, Colorado, Joe Rickards stands over a small aircraft wreckage, studying burnt remains still smoldering in a field of freshly fallen snow. He's an investigator for the NTSB, working to carefully roll back the last several hours and identify the cause of the accident. But this time, he can't.

The book popped up as a daily pick. Not expecting anything special, I decided to read it and I was pleasantly surprised. It seems I might be hooked on the author and narrator. Looking forward to more.

Religious, Racist and Politically charged story
Revisado: 12-31-20
The overall story is intriguing with many fictional truths. Highly racist, the authors oblivious unmerited use of racial language discredits him. Well documented religious and racial persicution thru our history of Europe, America and Africa. For a while it was hard to read, knowing our ancestors were so cruel towards one another. I had to speed up the narrator's timing and then followed for a better read.
