I'm an American who heard this story but never really paid much attention because back then, it was just "news".
Once I got older and started listening to true crime stories, this one naturally came up. I watched an interview with Amanda and looked up the books. I found this one and thought that I should listen to this one first since I kind of knew Amanda's side of things. I'm so grateful that I did. This book really completed the puzzle for me. His honesty and vulnerability are amazing. The strength he shows and the ability to own his truth, THEIR TRUTH, is absolutely awe inspiring. Everybody should read this book.

This book was one of the most entertaining books I've ever read. I laughed and cried then laughed some more. Also got some self help tips out of it. I would recommend this book to everyone!!
